LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Lindsay Lohan Playboy photos will earn the actress one million dollars. Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy pictures will be for the January 2012 issue released in December. Lohan friend Kim Kardashian also once posed Playboy pics for a December holiday released issue. But will Lohan be clothed? News reports are conflicting today.

Initial news reports claim that Lindsay Lohan will be paid $1 million to appear unclothed for the January issue. But conflicting news reports claim that Lohan will appear clothed. Lohan, however, will undergo shooting for the Playboy pics today, claims reports.

The timing of the deal is peculiar. Lohan’s longtime manager Lou Taylor has released resigned. Lohan’s publicist, Steve Honing, said the Taylor-Lohan split was amiable.

If Lohan did ink the Playboy deal, this will mark one of two lucrative deals in just weeks. German designer Philipp Plein is paying Lohan $500,000 to represent his line. Lohan reportedly was offered $750,000 to pose for Playboy. The actress demanded $1 million and reportedly got the paycheck. (Update 12/9 the photos have been released.)

What could be the theme of Lohan’s shoot? LALATE expects that a Marilyn Monroe theme is anticipated. Often dubbed MonroLo, Lohan has done Marilyn spreads for the New Yorker Magazine in 2008 and then for the 2009 Spanish Vogue issue. In Susan Bernard’s book Marilyn: Intimate Exposures, Lohan explained why she associates with Marilyn.

Lohan told news “Marilyn was the beautiful bad girl in that tight, rose-colored dress. The character she played was strong and taking control, which I unconsciously knew at that young age [12] was a necessary quality for a woman.”

Lohan added “People in their mind have created who I am and act as if there is no real person inside of me. Just like Marilyn.”

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Revelations about the Casey Anthony jurors’ names and addresses prompted privacy and safety concerns today. The Casey Anthony jurors’ names include Joan Meier, Raymond Screen, Linda Bills, and Harriet White, and Brian Berling. Other jurors Kimberly Kimball, Kathleen Nighland, James Kearns, Ronald Robertson, David Angelo, Mary Fuhr and Jennifer Ford rounded out the list. All the jurors are residents of Pinellas County. Today Orlando officials released the jurors’ names to news. And while the addresses of the Casey Anthony jurors were not released by Orlando officials to local news today, the existence of those addresses online is prompting privacy and safety concerns Tuesday.

Pinellas County was the home of all the Casey Anthony jurors. Earlier this year, Chief Judge Belvin Perry ruled that the jurors’ names would not be released intially after Casey Anthony’s verdict was announced. Immediate critics denounced the decision.

But Perry ruled that a three month “cooling off” period was needed. In July 26, Perry said that the safety of the jurors remains in question. He said that their decision was not viewed popular and could lead to hostilities targeted at het jurors.

“Only time will heal those upset by the verdict and will allow public interest to subside sufficiently that violence may be avoided,” Perry told the Court in July. But critics say the cooling hasn’t happened. The alternate jurors were Elizabeth Jones, Heather Feuerhake, Dean Edward Eckstadt and Russell William Huekler.

Critics claim that the release of the names, coupled with online websites already listing their addresses, could created a dangerous domino effect. More than a handful of popular websites allow users to type in a person’s name and locate their address effortlessly, for free. Many other websites post details about individuals’ homes including purchase prices and square footage.  Critics have said the release of the jurors’ names will dissuade people from serving on jury duty.

But where is Casey Anthony? The Enquirer claims, that once Casey has finished her probation, she will head south of the border. After finishing her probation next year, Casey and an alleged secret boyfriend will head to Baja Mexico, permanently.

Where is Casey going? The report claims that a beach cottage near La Paz on the Sea of Cortez has been selected. The home reportedly is not owned by Casey’s boyfriend but by a “close friend”.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Obama L.A. October 25, 2011 visit today will prompt road delays especially in Hollywood and Burbank. The Obama L.A. October 25, 2011 street closures today will be the result of the President’s heading to NBC Studios. On Tuesday, Obama will tape in the morning today’s episode of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The President’s route for October 25 is expected to prompt traffic delays and temporary road closures through the Highland pass to the Valley. Obama is heading to Burbank studios of NBC early this morning. The Tonight Show taping will roughly before 10 am PST, officials confirm to news.

Then the President will fly out of Los Angeles to San Francisco for another fundraiser. The President will end the evening in Denver for yet another campaign stop.

Yesterday the President headed to two meals / fundraisers, both galas in the Hancock Park area. But before then, the President stopped off a local favorite Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n Waffles. The President reportedly ordered approximately $9 worth of food after touching down in Los Angeles on Air Force One. Obama’s order was the No. 9 “Country Boy” – a mixture of wings, waffles and sides.

One of the President’s stops yesterdays was aimed at the Hispanic vote. Critics say the President was elected to improve immigration reform but has instituted policies less favorable for Hispanics. The President is accused of doing nothing but increase deportations of Hispanic. As much as four hundred thousand deportations were effectuated as of September 2011. Recently, the National Association of Latino Elected Officials said their electorate will not vote for Obama in 2012 because of his handling of Latino issues during his term.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – An Arizona earthquake today rocked sections of Prescott. The Arizona earthquake today was centered west of Prescott and Sedona, and south of Seligman. No reports of damage have been detailed by local news.

Shortly before noontime today October 25, 2011, a 3.6 magnitude quake struck the region. USGS reports to news that the quake had a shallow depth. The quake struck only three miles below the earth’s surface.

The quake was centered eighteen miles north of Prescott, local news indicates. The quake was roughly forty miles south of Seligman and west of Sedona. It was also approximately one hundred miles north of Phoenix.

In related news, a 3.3 magnitude quake struck Puerto Rico today. The terremoto rocked the region shortly before 8 am local time. The temblor was centered north of San Juan and Catano. Local news reports the quake was of significant depth but was only eighteen miles from San Juan.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Marques Houston is not dead. Marques Houston is battling fake death reports today, allegations that he died from “chronic asthma”. Marques Houston is not the first celebrity to battle fake death reports this week. But Houston is certainly the first singer to be the victim of erroneous tweets that have spiraled out of control.

On Monday morning, a fake tweet claimed Houston had died from asthma. “Singer Marques Houston has died from chronic asthma in his Los Angeles apartment complex today. He was 30.” Many fans believed the tweet to be real because of the novel trick by the author. Before the words “Singer Marques Houston”, the author added “RT” and listed a leading music news site. The suggestion, to Twitter uses, was that the original message about Houston’s (fake) death was reported by the music news site. However, the music website never wrote the death report.  There was no original tweet, and hence the “retweet” insertion was fake.

Every month, a far more inventive attempt is used to confuse fans about fake celebrity deaths. In 2009 false death reports were usually spread by entire websites set up to confuse fans. The most recent celebrities that have been victims of that type of report are Adam Sandler, David Guetta, and last weekend’s Eddie Murphy. The deaths are claimed to happen either in “Zermatt”, “Kitzbühel Austria”, or “Interstate 80?.

But last summer, fans saw two new attempts to confuse them. The first was the fake Beyonce death report of August 2011. A user stole the logo of a U.S. cable news channel, and parts of the news site’s template, and authored what appeared to be a screengrab of the website that Beyonce had died. Beyonce never died. The screengrab was sent via a TwitPic. Viewers were prompted to believe that a Twitpic was actually a screengrab of the website.

Then, that same month, someone set up an entire fake Facebook Death page to claim that Jackie Chan had died. Most fans were furious about the Jackie Chan fake death Facebook page. “Jackie Chan isn’t dead, I don’t like how anyone can make Facebook pages because then they make fake death pages.”

But today’s fake death report, purely created through tweets, is perhaps the most peculiar this month. “Marques Houston really died … chronic asthma?” said one fan moments ago.

In fact, a single tweet is not to blame. There are multiple tweets confusing fans today using the “RT” trick and using a fake asthma story. “RT [....] Marques Houston former lead of R&B group Immature was found dead this morning in his apartment due to Chronic asthma” claims another fake death message being sent out Monday.
