LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – UFC 137 live results of Penn vs. Diaz will get a pre-show online along with a live streaming telecast, for free, of certain preliminary bouts. This afternoon, UFC 137 live results will first get a pay-per-view pre-show starting at 2 pm PST on Heavy.com. But after that, certain bouts will air live and free via streaming video on Facebook.com

First, UFC 137 will get an “Official UFC Pre-Show … live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center”. Officials tell news that the telecast will be hosted by Dave Farra and Megan Olivi and feature appearances by John Morgan (MMAjunkie.com) and Brett Okamoto (ESPN). The telecast will air pay-per-view on Heavy.com at 3 pm PST.

Then, fifteen minutes later, Facbeook.com will begin to air via free streaming video online certain preliminary fights. UFC officials confirm to news that the Facebook fights will air at 3:15 PM PST on facebook.com/UFC. Tonight, UFC will deliver four preliminary fights on Facebook. They are Brandon Vera vs. Eliot Marshall, Ramsey Nijem vs. Danny Downes,Chris Camozzi vs. Francis Carmont, and Dustin Jacoby vs. Clifford Starks.

Then Spike TV will air at 5 PM PST two preliminary fights, for free. Those Spike TV fights are Dennis Siver vs. Donald Cerrone and Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski.

Finally, at 6 pm, UFC on PPV will air four main card fights. They are (in reverse order) B.J. Penn vs. Nick Diaz, Cheick Kongo vs. Matt Mitrione, Mirko Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson, Scott Jorgensen vs. Jeff Curran, and Hatsu Hioki vs. George Roop. For live results tonight, click HERE.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Alex Torres and Hope Howell skydiving video (photos below) has not resulted in an FAA penalty, officials confirm to news this weekend. The Alex Torres and Hope Howell video had prompted an FAA investigation following claims that the two had allegedly disrupted a pilot during the filming of their infamous home video.

But FAA spokesman Ian Gregor confirms to news today that the subject of the investigation was limited to the in-cabin behavior. FAA officials were not investigating the conduct by the two after jumping out of the plane since no persons had filed a complaint about that behavior. The FAA had been trying to determine “whether the activity could have distracted the pilot or resulted in the pilot being jostled and bumped.”

Officials confirm that, while the two may have engaged in relations inside the plane’s cabin, they did not seek to interfere with the pilot’s services during the flight. FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said no federal regulations were broken and that the matter has now been closed. No police investigation was initiated because no local complaints were filed.

Alex Torres and Hope Howell claimed they filmed the video to get attention from Howard Stern and land an appearance on his radio show.

Torres at the time was an instructed at Skydive Taft; Howell was the school’s receptionist. Both, however, had a background in “video” entertainment. Howell and Torres have each appeared in more than a dozen films. Torres goes by the credit “Voodoo” in his adult films.

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The St Louis Cardinals Victory Parade Route 2011 has been announced by officials. The St Louis Cardinals Parade Sunday October 30, 2011 will begin at 4 pm with tickets at cardinals.com/parade going on sale today. The celebrations will end inside Busch stadium.

Officials tell news that the parade celebration will start at 18th and market Sunday. But if you want tickets for the celebration at the end, inside Busch stadium, those tickets will go on sale today at 2 pm at cardinals.com/parade. Pricing will be $5 per ticket with all the money going to the Cardinals Care charitable foundation.

The parade, after starting Sunday following the Rams game, will head east on Market Street. When the parade gets to 7th, it will turn south towards Busch stadium.

“Please join the St. Louis Cardinals as we celebrate our 11th World Series Championship” said Cardinals officials in a news statement Saturday. “The World Series Championship Celebration is the culmination of the World Championship Parade, and will be held inside Busch Stadium on Sunday, October 30th.”

This marks the 11th championship celebration for the franchise, the last in 2006. The official name of Sunday’s parade is the Built Ford Tough Parade of Champions celebrating the 2011 World Series Champions St. Louis Cardinals. A map is located HERE.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Luke Perry, David Guetta, and Jerry Brisco (Gerald Brisco) are not dead. Rather, Perry, Guetta, Brisco are all victims of fake death reports simultaneously surfacing today. Fake celebrity death stories usually develop one at a time. But midday today, October 28, 2011, three fake celebrity death reports all hit social networking, simultaneously.

First, Luke Perry is not dead. The location of Perry’s fake death report is yet again the slopes of Zermatt. The fake cause of death is a snowboarding accident.

If you are fan of a particular celebrity, and you ever hear the words “Zermatt” plus “snowboarding” on Twitter or Facebook, chances are it’s the same fake celebrity death report that continues to strike different celebrities.

Luke Perry was neither in Zermatt nor snowboarding. Rather the fictional story is the result of a website the utilizes templates for death stories. One of those templates is to report the celebrity dead in Zermatt, while snowboarding or skiing. The same Zermatt story was used to kill of Adam Sandler. Other celebrities to falsely die in Zermatt snowboarding stories are Jim Carrey, Russell Crowe, and Marcus Houston.

Second, David Guetta is not dead. As reported previously on LALATE, David Guetta is a victim of fake death report uses a fabricated car crash on “Route 80″. The author of the Perry fake death report is also behind the Guetta death report.

The difference is the location. For Guetta, the fake story puts him, not snowboarding in Zermatt, but driving on “Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell”. The Guetta fake death report has been used against DJ Tiesto and David Beckham as well.

Finally, Jerry Brisco aka Gerald Brisco is not dead. The source of the fake Brisco death report is far more unclear. But one Wrestling website yesterday reported “We got hate for posting the Jerry Brisco died rumor [but] we thought was true”. Jim Ross also confirmed news that the death report was false. Ross reported yesterday “Jerry Brisco is ALIVE. Just talked to him. “. He later added “Jerry Brisco is NOT dead. Bad info. I talked to Jerry today.”

Either way, fans are irate about all three fake death reports. As to the Luke Perry fake death story, one fan writes “This rumor about Luke Perry is really not funny…. I would be devastated if Dylan McKay died”.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Nuestra Navidad 2011 will reunite Paulina Rubio, Pitbull, Chino y Nacho next week. Paulina Rubio will hit the stage with Pitbull to follow-up their 2010 effort, while Rubio’s current hit single is the result of work with Nacho, from the Venezuelan due Chino & Nacho.

The Univision telecast will be hosted by Lili Estefan and Adamari Lopez. Also performing will be Gloria Estefan and Arthur Hanlon, confirms Rubio to news. In celebration of the broadcast, both Pitbull and Rubio are giving away some tickets to lucky fans. In a statement to fans and news today, Rubio says “Want to be a part of the audience for Nuestra Navidad 2011 that will air on Univision in December?.. Come see me at Nuestra Navidad next week with Pitbull, Chino y Nacho”.

Rubio is expected to perform her new hit single Me Gustas Tanto making news this month. The track is currently being played across U.S. markets on Latin contemporary and pop channels. The music video for the single debuted this week. The single is the first track of Brava!, her tenth studio album debuting November 15.
