LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – What does Joe Gorga do for a living? Last night, wife Melissa Gorga told news and fans the answer to the question which has dominated this season of Jersey Housewives. Bravo was not particularly good at detailing the background on its new cast additions this season. Fans were confused about Joe Gorga. Despite being depicted with one of the most lavish mansions ever seen on the Bravo franchise, Gorga’s employment was never revealed; and yet, he seemed to drip with money and gold from episode to episode.
Andy Cohen told Melissa last night that everyone has been asking this season what Joe Gorga does for a living. “He is successful” said Melissa. “He is an extremely hard worker. He takes old warehouses and converts them into condos and he also does custom homes.”
Teresa Giudice, however, wanted to turn the focus back on herself. So she told viewers how her husband Joe Giudice (in her mind) is the brilliant businessman of Jersey Housewives.

First, Teresa responded to news and fan criticisms for allegedly calling Melissa a gold-digger. Teresa, who did make a comment generally about the same this season, last night said she never suggested Melissa married Gorga for money. Nothing could be further from the truth. Rather, Giudice said her husband Juicy Joe called Melissa a gold-digger, not Teresa (as though that makes it any better).
Next, Teresa began twisting other people’s financial backgrounds. Giudice said that Joe Gorga got into “house flipping” because of Joe Giudice’s alleged brilliant business dealing. Giudice is now bankrupt. Melissa said that Teresa’s assertion is not only false but infuriates her brother Joe Gorga.
Then, Teresa went after Kathy Wakile’s own money. Teresa claimed that Kathy Wakile and her husband went into real estate because of Joe Giudice also. Kathy Wakile said the assertion is false.
Having had enough, Kathy Wakile and Melissa Gorga told Teresa that she is delusional to think everyone on the show had turned to Joe Giudice as a financial inspiration for their own business affairs. As Melissa Gorga said this season, “At least we pay our bills.”
