Alex Torres, Hope Howell Skydiving Video Prompts Investigation

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Alex Torres and Hope Howell skydiving video has prompted an investigation. Alex Torres aka Voodoo and Hope Howell (photos below) appeared in a video having relations both before the skydive and during the jump. Torres allegedly authored the video to attract attention from Howard Stern. But now the video has attracted attention from local and federal investigators.
Alex Torres is a “film” actor known by the name Voodoo. But on Monday, he cast his spell on Hope Howell. Torres at the time was an instructed at Skydive Taft; Howell was the school’s receptionist. But Monday evening, the video was removed from Torres’ website. Today, it’s dominating CNN news.
Dave Chrouch tells KCET that “I didn’t know it until one of the officers came over from the Taft Police Department and informed me this was going around the kids in school and stuff”. He added . “Apparently they told my pilot it was ok to do this. And got here early in the morning before anyone got here and shot this.”

Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson Ian Gregor says that the mid-air relations between Torres and Howell is not actionable because both persons were of adult age and consenting.
However the relations by the two in the plane is under investigation. He tells KGET that such actions may amount to a violation of federal aviation regulations. The FAA is determining “whether the activity could have distracted the pilot or resulted in the pilot being jostled and bumped.â€

Chrouch tells news that Torres is fired; Howell’s employment decision has not been determined. After investigation, Lieutenant Ed Whiting of the Taft Police Department confirmed that no charges will be filed by local police since everyone was of age and because no one saw the conduct live to file a complaint.
