LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Traffic from President Obama’s visit in L.A. will continue today September 27, 2011. Some Obama road closures and traffic will remain in place this morning until the President departs from LAX. The President stayed the night in Beverly Hills. This morning, West Hollywood residents found road closures still active. West Los Angeles traffic will continue as the President heads from Beverly Hills to West Hollywood and then back to LAX.

City officials tell news that the President’s route will feature him departing the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at 10 AM PST today. The President will reported head in caravan from Beverly Hills to West Hollywood. San Vicente Boulevard between Santa Monica Boulevard and Melrose Avenue will remain closed until noon.

The President will then depart from West Hollywood to LAX perhaps by helicopter and then depart from LAX to Denver. West Los Angeles residents will be grateful to know that the President is not expected to travel in caravan all the way from Beverly Hills to LAX.

Last night the President attended the House of Blues for a function hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family). The fundraiser featured performances by B.o.B. and Adam 12 . But during Obama’s speech, a heckler interrupted the President’s speech, shouting “Jesus Christ is God!” The crowd shouted back at the heckler “Four more years!” When he was escorted out of the room, the heckler responded “But you’re the antichrist”.

The second fundraiser at Fig & Olive brought in celebrities including Jeffrey Katzenburg, Jack Black, Danny DeVito, Rhea Perlman, Jon Landau, Judd Apatow, and Quincy Jones.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Payne kids, eight adorable siblings from Queens, have been found alive and safe. The Payne kids were found safe this morning. Police claim the Payne kids’ biological parents, Shanel Nadel and Nephra Payne abducted the kids from a Queens foster-care facility. The child abduction has been resolved after police found the eight Payne kids in Pennsylvania.

Seven of the kids are boys ages 4 to 11, all with the same name, Nephra. The eighth child is named Nefertiti, an 11th month old girl. Nadal had visited all eight children during a supervised visit at Forestdale child agency in Forest Hills.

After that, the couple took off with the children in an SUV and headed out of the state. It remains unclear where the parents were headed. But police believe the family went to South Carolina first and then back to Pennsylvania.

The grandmother Rosetta Middleton previously told news that the children’s parents are good people. She added that she was not surprised by the abduction. She tells news, however, that she is shocked that a supervised visit was conducted so poorly that one parent could walk out the front door with eight children.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – On Dancing with the Stars tonight, David Arquette and Chaz Bono struggled greatly. Dancing with the Stars results for tomorrow September 27, 2011 could send either Arquette or Bono home; the two now have the lowest combined scores after two weeks of the competition. Neither competitor entered tonight’s competition in last place. But the worse competitors from week one – Elisabetta, Nancy Grace, and Rob Kardashian – all had a huge scoring nights tonight.

Dancing with the Stars scores tonight surprised fans and news. Rarely in the second week of the series do you see such high scores. Moreover, many of the competitors that were lackluster last week were on top of the rankings this week. So as a result, a low score tonight could prompt immediate elimination.

Before tonight, Elisabetta had a fifteen, while Nancy and Rob had sixteens. Tonight however Elisabetta Canalis turned it around. She surprised news with a twenty-one score on the quickstep. Len said “it was better than last week”. Bruno added “the pistons were pumping”. And Carrie Ann said “you nailed the steps”.

Nancy Grace had the same dance with the same score. Len said “it was proper quickstep”. Bruno remarked that Nancy was “taking over the dance floor” and Carrie Ann said it exemplified “improvement”. Rob on the jive also pulled in the same result.

But David Arquette and Kym Johnson just didn’t jive well tonight, literally. They were so poor they didn’t just surprise fans but also  the judges. Len said “The technique wasn’t there.” Bruno was surprised the team was so bad. He said they lost “a lot of technique”. And Carrie Ann said “you were too loose”. David earned an eighteen.

Chaz Bono on the quickstep had the lowest score of the night with a seventeen. Len didn’t hold back in his remarks stating “It was a quickstep, and I moved faster through a car wash.” Bruno said it was lacking. Carrie Ann said they were charming but lacking technique.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Playboy battle returns to RHOBH tonight between Faye Resnick and Camille Grammer. Faye Resnick returns to the Beverly Hills Housewives tonight, and while fans were surprised she wasn’t made a full “Housewife” this season, Faye tells news it would have been too much for her schedule.

Brandi Glanville tonight throws insults at Eddie Cibrian who now stars in the new drama “The Playboy Club”. But RHOBH has its own Playboy drama as former Playboy women Camille and Faye face off. Much of the drama between these ladies got even worse after last season and the notable  “Dinner Date from Hell” . In subsequent video narratives, Faye revealed more to fans and news later about that infamous episode.

After the Beverly Hills season ended last year, Bravo aired a special entitled Dinner Party from Hell, Producers Cut, in which Faye told viewers  that she knows Camille’s past. “Someone sent me a Playboy shot [of Camille] and it doesn’t look like a Playboy shot. It look a p-n shot…. I know everything about Camille’s past.”

Last season, Kyle Richards started the Faye vs. Camille fight with the loaded question “Camille, didn’t YOU also pose for Playboy?” Kyle knew the answer because the Housewives had reportedly looked at Camille’s pictures in the limo en route to Camille’s Malibu mansion.

Yet, all this was played up during the broadcast. When the episode first aired, news reports claimed that Camille’s past was “revealed”. It was not revealed. It was widely known when the series started that Camille Donatacci had posed for Playboy, that she appeared unclothed in pictures online, that she appeared in Marilyn Chambers’ Bedtime Stories and The N–ed Detective.

Grammer claimed on camera that she didn’t do Playboy Magazine but Playboy’s Lingerie book. Taylor said “It’s clothed? You we wearing lingerie.“. Lisa Vanderpump off screen responded to the comment. “Lingerie? I thought the whole point of Playboy is no lingerie.”

And yet, today people still remember the exchange “The answers to the murders lie are in the world of Faye Resnick”. The remark was not a trial answer but a response OJ Simpson granted during a TV interview after the trial.

Tonight, the dubbed “morally corrupt” Faye Resnick, as Camille called her last season, returns to the series. But while many fans, LALATE included, though Resnick should have been made a full Housewife this season, Faye tells fans and news she is still content as she is.

When asked “Any chance u could be the next Beverly Hills Housewife?” she recently responded “Ha, I barley have time for my design firm as it is.” Resnick’s appearance last season produced one of the highest rated episodes ever for the series. But Eddie Cibrian’s debut in The Playboy Club, ironically, one of the worse ratings for a new show this fall season.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Diane Downs story “Small Sacrifices” returns to TV this week. Diane Downs (photos below) made news three years ago after she was denied parole for the shooting of her daughters Cherlyn Lynn, Christie Ann, and Danny. The story would be made into a book and then a movie of the week led by Farrah Fawcett in the title role. In 2008 LALATE reported about Downs’ first parole consideration.

Downs told parole officials at the time “Over the years, I have told you and the rest of the world that a man shot me and my children. I have never changed my story.” She was denied parole. “Downs continues to fail to demonstrate any honest insight into her criminal behavior” the board found. “Even after her convictions, she continues to fabricate new versions of events under which the crimes occurred.”

Last December Downs was denied parole on her second attempt. She will not be eligible for parole until 2020 when she is sixty-five.

In related news, the California Attorney General’s Office of Charitable Trust is reportedly investigating the Farrah Fawcett Foundation. The Office is investigating possible mismanagement of funds, diversion of assets, and fraud, claims news. Alana Stewart, president of the foundation, says the investigation is “outrageous”. The Office would not confirm to news that its investigation is underway.
