LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Criss Angel and Sandra Gonzalez are planning a wedding. Criss Angel and Sandra Gonzalez (aka Cassandra Gonzalez) are engaged. The engagement comes just days after LALATE reported news that the couple were getting serious.

On August 21, LALATE reported that Criss Angel (Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos) and Sandra were very in love. At the time, Angel confirmed his relationship to Las Vegas news but didn’t mention Sandra’s last name. He said the two got closer because of a recent “epiphany”.

While Angel in his comments to news didn’t state Sandra’s full name, a 2009 Las Vegas Sun report, before editing, listed her name as possibly Cassandra Gomez. Today, a report in PEOPLE indicates her name to be Sandra Gonzalez.

In August, Angel told Robin Leach that he and Sandra were very serious. “I had this sudden realization that what I had been really looking for was all along right in front of my eyes. Sandra is the love of my life”. He added “Now we’ve made the decision it’s a great feeling — beyond our wildest dreams.” A close friend of Angel told news that the relationship is very solid.

PEOPLE reports that, days after that Leach interview, Angel and Gonzalez got engaged in Cabo San Lucas. The couple did not confirm the engagement in the report. As reported previously on LALATE, a new season 7 of Criss Angel Mindfreak was not included in the A&E news statement about its fall lineup. A&E has yet to comment about future plans for the show.
