LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Whatever happened to Adrienne Bailon and Rob Kardashian? Fans this year for Dancing with the Stars are already revisiting the subject. But as Rob Kardashian takes to the ABC dance floor, he will have both Adrienne Bailon’s former bandmate and sister Kim Kardashian for possible advice, if he needs it. He will additionally still have unanswered questions about those bizarre “leaked” photos of Bailon that struck his relationship with the singer several years back.

During Rob Kardashian’s relationship with Adrienne Bailon, pictures of Bailon allegedly “leaked”. Fans and news were skeptical that the pictures were ever stolen or leaked.

First, in November 2007, Kim Kardashian claimed that her own laptop was stolen from JFK Airport. Kim’s own claim at the time attracted news skepticism and lack of confirmation from authorities.

Then, in October 2008, reports claimed that Bailon’s laptop was allegedly stolen from JFK Airport as well. Soon the pictures hit the net, photos that weren’t that particular scandalous but did attract a lot of news attention.

Adrienne’s then publicist eventually told FOX News that the laptop was stolen, but that pictures leaked online were not from from the laptop but from Adrienne’s phone.

“Adrienne and her boyfriend (Rob Kardashian) swear they didn’t leak them, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Adrienne did” said the publicist in an FOX news interview is 2008. “It’s either her or someone very close to her. Things are pretty ugly, what should have been an image boost has really turned around and bitten her.”

US Magazine at the same time reported ” “Bailon and … [her publicist] leaked the story that … shots were stolen from her laptop “purely to get attention,” a source tells Usmagazine.com. In an interview with a local CBS affiliate, [the publicist] confirmed they made up the scandal “to juice” things up.”

Ultimately Rob Kardashian and Adrienne Bailon broke up, as confirmed by MTV in March of 2009. MTV confirmed the news when it tapped Bailon as the new face of MTV Afternoons.

In spring 2009, Bailon tweeted her reaction to the split-up. “Did I love you? Yeah… But I’m not about to cry.” Finally during a January 2010 broadcast of Keeping up With the Kardashians, Rob claimed that his own actions led to the couple’s spit.

When Rob takes to Dancing with the Stars, he will have at least two persons to turn to for dancing advice. Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne’s former bandmate in the Cheetah Girls, competed on season five, and sister Kim competed in season seven.
