Kelly Clarkson Mr. Know It All Impresses Fans

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Kelly Clarkson’s new single Mr. Know It All hit the internet this weekend and immediately impressed fans and news critics. Mr. Know It All is off Clarkson’s upcoming album Stronger. For Clarkson, the song represents a progression of her musical sound after fans were confused by a series of leaked, older tracks this summer.
Mr. Know It All lyrics include “Oh you think that you know me. That’s why I’m leaving you lonely, cause baby you don’t know a thing about me.” Clarkson’s lyrics boast a powerful track set to be released August 30. “You don’t know a thing about me. You ain’t got the right to tell me when and where to go, no right to tell me.”
For Kelly the release of the single can’t come soon enough. In July a handful of songs were leaked online. Instantly, fans and critics were baffled by the sound, thinking that Kelly was heading into a bizarre direction. Unfortunately, those tracks weren’t new but old. “There are songs out there that are from eight or 10 years ago …they’re just not songs I would normally sing.”
Clarkson said it wasn’t fair that she had to defend herself against tracks that weren’t intended to be her own. “Everybody had no idea what my next album was going to sound like. That really caused a lot of confusion.” Clarkson tells news that she tries to stay away from mastering multiple digital copies for fear of future leaks. Her album drops October 25.
