Heidi Montag Famous Food Serves Up Bad Ratings

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Heidi Montag and Danielle Staub in “Famous Foods” try to prove they can serve up a good meal. Montag and Staub might be popular in the kitchen, but they aren’t on television. This week, Famous Foods delivered infamous ratings for VH-1.
Famous Food is being produced by 51 Minds Entertainment. Usually when a 51 Minds show premieres, it does well in the ratings. With a portfolio of shows like I Love Money, Real Chance of Love, for the Love of Ray J, Rock of Love, and I Love New York, this time 51 Minds focused on food, not love. This week, there was no love in the ratings.
Reports claim the show premiered at 430,000 viewers. That is compared to Real Housewives of New Jersey which is now ballooning to 2.2 million viewers.
In fact, Montag might have been worried that her show would bomb even in advance of its premiere. Montag tells news that previously popular reality tv stars are losing their fan base.
During a recent news interview, Montag admitted she was shocked to learn that The World According to Paris failed in the tv ratings. Heidi said, “We thought it’d [the premiere] be huge!” Spencer Pratt added: “Paris Hilton created fame for nothing. The fact that only 400,000 people tuned into her premiere? We’re Paris Hilton fans.” He continued: “She didn’t make all these surgery mistakes, or crystal mistakes. She didn’t do any of that. But here she is. Her career stopped.”
