Bert Lopez Cop Video Tape Prompts Investigation

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Officer Bert Lopez, a cop with the New Mexico State Police, has been caught on video tape for alleged improper acts. Now that Bert Lopez video tape is prompting an investigation. In the video, Officer Bert Lopez is allegedly having relations with a female on top of a car. Some reports online tonight are erroneously reporting that Lopez had relations with the female on top of his cop car; the car instead was the female’s dark-colored Honda.
Bert Lopez does however allegedly appeared clothed in police attire while having relations with the female. The video comes roughly a year after Bert Lopez was bestowed New Mexico State Police District 1 Officer of the Year.
In the video, a woman appears allegedly unclothed laying on the hood of the Honda. Lopez in turn allegedly appears virtually fully clothed in his official New Mexico State Police District uniform. News reports claim that Lopez was allegedly on duty when the tape was recorded.
KOB reports that peculiar detail that they only witness was a Chihuahua. The video was recorded by surveillance cameras. The two allegedly engaged in acts on a remote Sante Fe ranch. The ranch reportedly is owned by the County. The tape is still not dated. The matter is confirmed under investigation.
“The internal affairs investigation is complete, now we are awaiting a final decision on any disciplinary action that could be taken,” said the official statement to news. Santa Fe County Sheriff Robert Garcia says he is certain that no laws weren’t broken and hence no charges will be filed.
The surveillance camera was reportedly a motion-sensor activated device. Lopez is reportedly on paid administrative leave and could face possible disciplinary action.
