ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Catherine Kieu Becker (photos below) evoked the Lorena Bobbitt and John Wayne Bobbitt infamous encounter of 1993 this week. Catherine Kieu Becker is married, as was Lorena Bobbitt, at the time of her crime. Loreana Bobbitt was married to John Wayne Bobbitt when put a knife to her husband; the name of Catherine Kieu Becker’s husband has yet to be identified.

On June 23, 1993, John Wayne Bobbitt was laying asleep when wife Loreana got out of bed, and went to the kitchen for a drink of water. She then grabbed a carving knife in the kitchen, returned to the bed, and cut off half of Bobbitt’s manhood. Loreana then hit the road in her vehicle and tossed the severed male body part out of the window.

On Monday night, a similar set of alleged circumstances unfolded. here in Southern California.

Catherine Kieu Becker allegedly drugged her husband during dinner. He then went to bed. She alleged tied him to the bed. She then allegedly left the bed, when to the kitchen, grabbed a kitchen knife and cut off his manhood.

But unlike Mrs. Bobbitt, Mrs. Becker didn’t hit the road. Rather she allegedly took the severed body part back to the kitchen, tossed it into the garbage disposal, and turned it on.

John Wayne Bobbitt survived his injuries, his body part was surgically reattached. Catherine Kieu Becker’s husband, however, is in serious condition. Catherine remains in Orange County Jail. Below is a reunion video of the Bobbitts years after their encounter.
