Borderline Personality Disorder Strikes Michi Nogami-Marshall, Brandon Marshall Relationship

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Borderline Personality Disorder (PBD) has struck Brandon Marshall’s relationship with his wife Michi Nogami-Marshall, the NFL star told news today. Borderline Personality Disorder is treatable, Marshall said during a news conference Sunday. The issues between Michi Nogami-Marshall (photos below), aka Michi Nogami-Campbell or Michi Nogami, and Brandon Marshall have dominated news for years, allegations of stabbing, assaults, and more. But Marshall today said that all those allegations are false, that investigations of his wife have been unwarranted. He also said that he has been cooperative with investigators, even though they claimed he had not.
The couple began dating in 2008, and got engaged at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii the following year. But in 2010, a police report asserted assault allegations against both Michi and Brandon. As to Brandon, “[the officer] observed Mr. Marshall grab Ms. Nogami-Campbell by her shirt and pin her up against the wall”. As to Michi, “Ms. Nogami-Campbell then began kicking and hitting Mr. Marshall” claimed the officer.
Brandon Marshall, however, today said that he is the only one with an issue that is being treated, not his wife. “Out of respect for my marriage and for my family and where we are at today, I will not go into any details of any situation” he began the news conference. He eventually did go into the details, though.
In April 2011, Michi Nogami-Marshall was arrested for allegedly stabbing Brandon Marshall in the stomach. She was booked, with a mug shot, and released on a $7,500 bond on Saturday April 23.
She alleged took a kitchen knife, cut up Brandon’s abs, landing him in emergency surgery and weeks of recovery. Brandon was accused of lying to police, telling them that his wound was the result of falling on a broken glass vase. When cops couldn’t find the vase, they booked Nogami-Marshall. But his rep told news to stay out of his business. Today, Marshall decided to go on the offensive against news reports and prosecutors.

Today, Brandon said he was not stabbed, that he did in fact fall on the glass vase. “But I want to make it clear that my wife did not take a knife and stab me.”
Prosecutors then in June claimed that Brandon Marshall was not cooperative. “Despite numerous efforts, we so far have been unable to get Mr. Marshall to agree to voluntarily speak to our office about the incident. We continue to diligently pursue this matter.” Brandon Marshall today also called that false. He claims he let them see the vase.

“I made the glass available to the detectives so that they can make their right decision which had my blood and skin still on it.”
He then began to speak about his talents and his affliction. “My story has played out physically in the media since I stepped out on the NFL field. It was hard for me to understand that someone so blessed … it was hard for me to understand to feel what I felt.” He added “this is the most stigmatizing disorder out there. It is very treatable. With the right treatment, program, the right treaters, one treated with BPD can lead a health life.”
He added “I cannot articulate how I have lived and it has effective my life… the way she had addressed the situation with grace and love. She had exhausted herself to help me and this is where we are at today.”
In June, Broward State Attorney’s Office spokesperson Veda Coleman-Wright confirmed that a restraining order was already put in place since the April matter, demanding that Nogami-Marshall stay five hundred feet away from her husband. Michi didn’t. She reportedly stayed in Brandon’s home. In June, Brandon returned back to the couple’s Southwest Ranches home.
Prosecutors claim that a dispute erupted and a 911 call was made from the house to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. The 911 caller hung up. Immediately, response personnel went to the house. There they found Nogami-Marshall with Brandon, and she arrested her at 11:30 am for violation of the restraining order. The arrest report said she “clearly violate the pre-trial conditions pursuant to the order to stay 500 feet away from the residence and to ‘not’ have contact”.
