Teresa Giudice Wine Business Fabullini Bubbles Up

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Teresa Giudice wine business is next to uncork for the New Jersey Housewife. Teresa Giudice wines could soon hit supermarket shelves alongside Ramona Singer’s Pinot Grigio and Bethany Frankel’s Skinny Girl Margarita. It’s enough Teresa Giudice’s brother Joe Gorga partook in too many tequila shots in the season finale of NJ Housewives this season. But that’s not stopping the elder Gorga to Fabullini.
Fabullini? Teresa Giudice tells New York news that she is hoping to launch a wine line. Her anticipated name, she tells the New York Daily News, is Fabullini. Giudice doesn’t tell news what type of meals the Fabullini wine would be best be served. But her hopes is that the wine will be so popular you won’t be able to keep it on the table (assuming, the table isn’t flipping
already).
Teresa Giudice’s wine would now mark the third Bravo Housewife to move from reality star to beverage producer. Singer’s own distribution is growing. “The vines ranged in age from 15-20 years old in soil of calcareous origin that is rich in limestone. The grapes were hand-picked and immediately crushed upon reception at the cellar” says her website. “The next process is the fermentation of the wine in stainless steel tanks which took 15 days.”
For Frankel, an alleged price tag (never confirmed by the seller nor purchaser) of $120 million was reported after Frankel sold Skinnygirl to Fortune Brands Inc.. The spirit priced at $14 or $15 in standard 750-milliliter bottles before its March 2011 sale had gotten into Costco; it was in virtually every state. “As an entrepreneur focused on practical solutions for everyday, I know Beam Global and Skinnygirl share that same vision” Frankel said after news of her cocktail brand’s sale last spring.
So does Teresa have what it takes to produce wines? Or are beverage lines becoming saturated by Housewives? Last season on OC, Lynne Curtin and Gretchen Rossi accused each other of being in more product lines than fans can even keep track. Is Grappa by Gretchen next in the pipeline? With Housewives, anything is possible.
