LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Amber Rose says a leaked photos scandal that erupted this week, pictures of Rose unclothed, cost her a lucrative job. Amber Rose scandal pictures were not, however, sent to Nicki Minaji’s boyfriend, Safaree Samuel. Rose tells news that the pictures leaked were photographed over 2 1/2 years old, far before her relationship to Wiz Khalifa.

So how did the pictures leak? Amber Rose tells news that several weeks ago she and her boyfriend Wiz Khalifa learned that a person who worked for her stole the compromising photos. The person, Rose explains, had access to her laptop. Why did Rose keep scandal pictures of herself on on her laptop? Rose doesn’t explain. She also doesn’t explain why, if she knew her employee had access the laptop with the pictures, that she allowed the employee full access to the computer. Rather, she said she simply “trusted someone that worked for me.”

During that employment, the person allegedly was “caught” by Rose “sending” the pictures “to themselves”. When Rose learned of the employee’s conduct, she fired him/her.

Rose doesn’t state when the firing occurred. But she tells news, that for the last two months, she and her boyfriend’s family have known the pictures were stolen. And yet, the two “tried to prepare ourselves for this day.”

Rose says she is both hurt emotionally and financially. She said that “young girls … look up” to her. She also says that she has lost employment from the pictures. In a second news statement, Rose says “The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family.”

Amber adds “It’s a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into your life and tries to destroy it. I know I’m not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private. I’m sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down.”

She said she has cried for two days. “Please understand this was a result of trusting a person that didn’t deserve my trust. I have cried for the past 2 days but I know this too shall pass. Thank u for all of your support.”

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Is Casey Anthony taking the stand? Casey Anthony could take the stand, and give testimony, as the final defense witness, within moments. The countdown for Casey Anthony possibly taking the stand in her own defense is set for 1:30 PM EST today. Legal analysts have long debated whether Casey Anthony would ever give testimony in this murder trial. But as major defense pitfalls developed yesterday, many are expecting Casey will testify this afternoon.

Casey Anthony, if legally competent to testify, must be allowed to testify in her own defense even if her attorneys disagree with her decision. Last weekend, Casey Anthony underwent multiple physiological examinations. They determined that she is competent. Initial criticism focused on whether that move was in hope of a mistrial.

But yesterday, it became apparent that the testing might have been requested by the Court in preparation for Casey testifying. If Casey Anthony had requested last week of the Court to take the stand in her defense, and her attorneys disagreed, her attorneys and or the Court may have wanted the examinations. Now, with the determination that Casey Anthony is capable of making her own decision to testify or not, will she?

Some predict that Casey Anthony will in fact testify on her own behalf. There have a been a series of indicators in this trial that have shown the road map of Jose Baez. It was no surprise that Krystal Holloway was left for the end of the defense case. The introduction of Holloway’s testimony was clearly blazed by the defense.

They first called George Anthony. They asked him if he told Holloway that Caylee’s death was an accident. He denied the conversation. They continued to ask George about elements of Casey’s defense. He denied those too: the duct tape, the car trunk, and the garbage bags.

That path set up Holloway being called to the stand. Why? Holloway was credible to impeach Anthony’s assertion that he did never believed, nor knew, that Caylee died accidentally. But there remains a problem.

The defense has arguably been successful in proving several elements but hasn’t yet answered other questions. The defense has arguably been successful in proving no premeditation occurred. Cindy Anthony, not Casey, did the computer searches, the defense will argue. They have arguably been successful about the duct tape. The tape was never in Casey’s possession, only George and Cindy. The expert stated that Caylee didn’t die with the tape on her face. Experts have asserted the tape was added after Caylee died.

But the drowning, the movement of the body from the house to the dump site, the disappearance of the body for thirty one days, are all questions that remain unanswered. Who can answer those questions? Casey Anthony will attempt to answer those questions.  But will she even be believable? If she doesn’t testify, based upon the failures of the defense the last two days, she will be convicted of at least manslaughter, or worse.

UPDATE: Casey Anthony has chosen not to testify. The defense has rested its case.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Kristyn Caddell is battling affair and mistress allegations today stemming from two news publications. Kristyn Caddell (photos below) is a WPTV-TV news reporter. WPTV-TV News Channel 5 is the NBC-affiliated television station for a section of South Florida, specifically Gold and Treasure Coasts. Kristyn Caddell has reported the news at WPTV for the last six years. But today, she is headlining national news as the results of two stories (National Enquirer, the Daily Mail) claiming that she had an affair with a married man.

But who is Kristyn Caddell allegedly linked to in the stories? The subject of the stories is another news reporter, also for NBC, famous for catching predators and people cheating on their loved ones. Chris Hansen is a NBC Dateline news reporter and best known for his “To Catch a Predator” series which he hosts. The program brings him across the U.S. Most recently, it brought him to South Florida for weeks of reporting. He was reporting on 2006 disappearance of Jimmy Trindade, a close friend of Roger and Peggy Gamblin.

It’s there that the National Enquirer and the Daily Mail followed Chris Hansen and Kristyn Caddell with video cameras and photographs. What exactly happened? Nothing, says a source close to Hansen today. The unidentified source tells the New York Post that “This is just ridiculous. It’s cr–p.” The source added “They’ve been friends for a long time, and there’s no truth to this.
There was no romantic dinner, and he didn’t stay with her that night.”

The complete photos were not released online. The National Enquirer issued a text preview of the allegations. The complete story with photos are set to appear in this week’s National Enquirer. The Daily Mail additionally had no photos released.

“Throughout her career, Kristyn has also had the opportunity to interview some pretty cool people everyone from Miley Cyrus to Jane Goodall” says her station biography. WPTV reports that Cadell is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University, a former collegiate soccer player.

Her work experience stated as an NBC intern in New York City. Before joining WPTV, she worked at KNVN//KHSL-TV in Chico, California; at KCEN-TV in Waco, Texas; and WATE-TV in Knoxville, TN. Hansen and Cadell have yet to comment about the allegations. NBC, Dateline, and WPTV have yet to comment either.

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Krystal Holloway, aka River Cruz (photos below), claims that George Anthony told her that Caylee’s death was “accident that snowballed out of control”. While Krystal Holloway’s testimony has been known for over a year, today the State and the defense argued the context of Anthony’s statement.

Did Krystal Holloway and George Anthony have an affair, did he admit to choking Casey Anthony, did Krystal Holloway pay George Anthony money so that he could allegedly fake attendance at a job he allegedly wasn’t at? None of those questions have ever seemed relevant in the Casey Anthony trial. Today they were not the focus.

Rather, the State and the defense went back and forth on the George Anthony “accident that snowballed out of control” remark. The State didn’t dispute the statement was made. Rather, the State and the defense sought to spin the context in which the statement was made.

The State asserts that George Anthony “believed” that the death was an “accident that snowballed out of control”. The defense asserts that George Anthony “knew” that the death was an “accident that snowballed out of control”.

Then there was a battle about that belief. The State asserts that, if George did have such a belief, that belief came from Casey Anthony’s statements to him. The defense asserts that, if George did have such a belief, he did so because of his own knowledge, not because of Casey Anthony.

During the cross, redirect, and subsequent questioning by Krystal Holloway, aka River Cruz, she consistently switched back and forth on her answer. First she said that George Anthony’s belief came from him independently, that Casey had no involvement with his belief. Then, when asked if he had first had knowledge, she said no. Next, when asked if Casey told George it was an accident, she said no.

During the commencement of one line of questioning, the prosecutor improperly said “Ms. Holloway, I’m confused” and spun his head. The judge sustained the remark. But the State was correct; the testimony by Krystal Holloway, aka River Cruz, is confusing.

First she says that George believed it was an accident, then she said he formed that belief without any statement from Casey, but then she said the belief is not based upon any knowledge.

The State will argue that Anthony was simply grieving and contemplating or brainstorming possible scenarios about how his daughter died. The defense will argue that Anthony was admitting independent knowledge of the cause of Caylee’s death. The defense will argue that George Anthony “knew” that Caylee died of an accidental death.

Legal analysts this morning are saying that, despite the attempts of the State to make Krystal’s testimony appear confusing, she has appeared convincing, honest, and sincere. Her testimony is consistent with the defense theory that George Anthony knew that Caylee died accidentally but tried to pin the death as a murder on his daughter.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Chris Hansen and Kristyn Caddell (photos below) are used to being on the camera. But now Chris Hansen and Kristyn Caddell have allegedly been caught on camera by the National Enquirer. Hansen, best known for his role on NBC and To Catch a Predator, and Kristyn Caddell, a news anchor at NBC affiliate WPTV in West Palm Beach, are both named in stunning allegations in the Enquirer, the Daily Mail, as reported by WTKR.

As WTKR-TV details, Hansen has made a living catching people with “sting operations” with “his TV crew.” But now “Chris Hansen has reportedly been caught in a sting of his own.”

As of 7 pm PST today, Hansen and Cadell on their respective twitter pages have yet to comment about the two articles in the Daily Mail and National Enquirer. WTKR-TV reports that “Hansen, 51, […. and] WPTV reporter Kristyn Caddell, 31, [were allegedly recorded] by undercover camera crews from the National Enquirer”.

Hansen with wife Mary have two kids. Mary is 53, Cadell is 30. While Cadell has yet to comment about the matter on her twitter page, she hasn’t updated the account since April 13. Hansen hasn’t commented about the matter either. He last updated readers on Twitter on April 23 about an upcoming story from the Bahamas.

The Daily Mail claims the alleged conduct has continued for the last four months. The site claims that Hansen was in “South Florida investigating the disappearance of James ‘Jimmy T’ Trindade” at the time.

UPDATE – A source close to Hansen tells the New York Post that the stories are untrue. Caddell has yet to comment.
