LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Giovanni Ramirez had ties to Varrio Nuevo Estrada (VNE) gang, LAPD Jose Carrillo has told news. Giovanni Ramirez had association with the VNE street gang’s Los Angeles central division, Carillo briefed Los Angeles news week. But in another report, police claimed that Ramirez heralded from a Pacoima gang. Now new details about Varrio Nuevo Estrada, Giovanni Ramirez’s violent past, and the search for more suspects have been released.

Far before Giovanni Ramirez’s arrest in the Bryan Stow (aka Brian Stow) matter Sunday, Ramirez had an extensive criminal background. At age 18, in 1998 Ramirez was convicted of attempted robbery. Ramirez was arrested for allegedly using a club against a woman, as a deadly weapon, in the effectuation of robbery. Ramirez eventually served one year in county jail. He reportedly was also convicted of a robbery in 1999.

Three years later, Ramirez was off probation. But by 2005, he was back in trouble with the law again. This time was convicted of firing a weapon in a public place. But the location of the firing prompted additional concern.

On New Years 2005, Ramirez was at a Pacoima home in the Foothill Area. Police had been dispatched to monitor the home that night in anticipation of weapons fired for New Years Eve. Additionally, the home had had reputation of being a gang residence, KTLA reports. An undercover gang officer wrote in his report for Ramirez that year that the house “… earned a violent reputation in Foothill Area.” The Pacoima home had a “reputation … established through its members committing violent crimes, including felony assaults, drive-by shootings and even murder.”

So why was Ramirez there? Police asserted he was part of that Pacoima street gang. He was found with methamphetamine on him. He pleaded guilty to a weapon change and went to state prison for thirty-two months.

Since being released, Ramirez has reportedly been out of control. But this weekend, police claimed that Ramirez had ties, not to a Pacoima gang, but to the downtown division of the Varrio Nuevo Estrada gang, reported CNN. The Varrio Nuevo Estrada gang dates back to Los Angeles in the 1940s. Its name derived from the Estrada Courts housing projects and grew out of Boyle Heights neighborhoods before expanding into East L.A. and Montebello.

The remaining suspects – the second person who alleged beat Bryan Stow and the Latina getaway driver – remain at large. Also sought for questioning is the toddler in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Police have yet to update news as to that part of their investigation.

Now over a decade later, the once box-office draw was trying to reignite his movie career with a series of projects in the pipeline. Ironically, it was during his time in office at Governor that Schwarzenegger told news that wife Maria Shriver joked about his lack of film income. Now, Shriver has hired a top Los Angeles divorce attorney, the actor’s cache among filmgoers has dropped because of the scandal, and roles have allegedly been put on hold. The question remains how much money is Schwarzenegger set to lose.

Mildred Patricia Baena aka Patty Baena or Mildred Baena has yet to comment about her affair with Arnold Schwarzenegger. And Schwarzenegger has yet to reveal to news how many years Maria Shriver was unaware of the love child between Schwarzenegger and Mildred Patricia Baena.

But in 2009, Schwarzenegger certainly addressed the issue of his net worth during an interview with CBS News’ Morley Safer. During the news interview, Safer let the actor look at earlier footage in which Schwarzenegger described his massive real estate empire bred from film roles. But when asked for comment about that footage, the actor said “I’m still laughing. Not all the way to the bank! My wife is screaming, ‘Now you make no money”.

In 2008, LALATE reported that the Will Smith took over the title role in “I am Legend ” reportedly first offered to Schwarzenegger. The film grossed $137 million in just its initial days of release, making it one of Smith’s most lucrative projects of the time.

Over a thirty year period, Schwarzenegger reportedly paid Mildred Patricia Baena $1200 a week. But roughly one year before the birth of his love child, Schwarzenegger’s allegedly told news he purchased a $38 million Gulfstream Jet.

At a conference in 2001 before the Sacramento Metro Chamber, the actor spoke about his then box-office draw. “My movies have hit more than $2 billion at the box office” he remarked. The question is when that earnings potential will return.

As to non-film income, he remarked “with real estate: the higher the stakes, the more you risk losing – but the more you stand to gain.”

Overall, Schwarzenegger was proud of his financial achievements. “I am the living, breathing incarnation of The American Dream. I became the leading bodybuilder in the world. I’ve made millions as a businessman many times over.” But with a net worth estimated at roughly $400 to 8000 million, Schwarzenegger, while under a prenuptial agreement with Maria Shriver, could stand to lose $200 to $400 million.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The face of Giovanni Ramirez in the Bryan Stow case will be seen for the first time today. Giovanni Ramirez (no mugshot photo yet released) will be arraigned today in the Bryan Stow (aka Brian Stow) assault case, confirm LAPD officials to news. On Friday a warrant for Ramirez’s arrest was issued. On Saturday, he was arrested at his non-listed residence in the 800 block of North Mariposa off the 101 Freeway near Melrose. On Monday, the Giovanni Ramirez case was sent to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. And today, prosecutors will arraign Ramirez.

The DA’s office tells news they have no further comment on the matter. The case of the Bryan Stow March 31 beating is still ongoing. At least two suspects are at large, multiple witnesses are sought. Ramirez is being held on $1 million pursuant to a parole hold. But new details about at least one other suspect is being revealed today.

On Monday, LALATE reported that the second person who allegedly beat Stow is still at large. Additionally being sought are the female getaway driver and a child who was in the car and allegedly witnessed the escape. But now Los Angeles police chief Charlie Beck is asking the public’s assistance with the female driver as well.

The female was reportedly driving a Mitsubishi or Acura, white in color. Witnesses describe her as a short Latina, in her twenties, no more than 5′3” in height. Her hair was in a ponytail and her frame is said to be petite.

On Sunday, Beck said Ramirez had ties to Varrio Nuevo Estrada, a Los Angeles street gang. ESPN has since reported that Giovanni’s street name was “Bug Daddy Laine.”

Moreover, his neck was covered recognizable tattoos. But between a first and second parole meeting after the Stow beating, Ramirez attempted to cover a neck tattoo. It remains unclear which tattoo was altered. A parole photo of the tattoos obtained by news indicates that his neck had a dollar symbol and a Los Angeles Dodgers LA logo.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Melissa Gorga owes Danielle Staub a toast. Because as Teresa Giudice battled Staub on the Real Housewives of NJ reunion last season, it was the mere mention of Gorga’s name that prompted Teresa’s now infamous body-check of Andy Cohen. Last night, Giudice told Cohen that she went off Danielle Staub in last season’s reunion show because Danielle mentioned Melissa. Confused how Danielle would even know about Melissa Gorga, Teresa got furious.

Now the drama is all gone for Teresa with Danielle Staub off the show. Or is she? Has Melissa Gorga become Danielle Staub 2.0?

Last night, Cohen asked Teresa about the “Gorga switch.” As Joe Gorga, Teresa’s brother, joins Housewives this season, there is no denying there is a Gorga switch at play. Teresa flips tables. Joe bangs them. Teresa points at people. Joe shoves them. And while the Gorga motto might be “happy wife, happy life”, this season it’s turning into “happy wife, not so happy reality TV life”.

How did Joe Gorga introduce himself to the world of reality TV in the premiere? Gorga was portrayed as an immensely successful, loving father with a devoted, beautiful family. But he also bangs tables in banquet halls, calls his sister garbage, partakes in too many tequila shots, and cries excessively to his mother between the second and third course of meals.

Viewers last night, however, hoped that Joe Gorga had calmed down since his Bravo premiere. Gorga took to a quiet dinner with the newest housewife and her Elliot Gould Oceans 11 inspired husband. The table was nicely set. The food was impressive. There wasn’t any tequila on the table. But still, Joe Gorga started banging the table again. What is with Gorgas and their tables?

It remains unclear if Andy Cohen anticipates doing a two part reunion show this season. The second part could be with Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice reunion, cross produced by the UFC. But one thing is for certain. This feud isn’t fake. Last night, Teresa was visibly bothered about this season when she visited “Watch What Happens Live”.

She should be. Teresa suggested, without saying it, that fame has ripped her family apart. As her cookbook became a success, her brother’s family allegedly claimed Teresa distanced herself from them. Now they are on the show, banging tables (literally) for attention as well.

When asked what she thought about the series premiere, Teresa told Cohen “I don’t remember my brother saying that word [garbage]. My heart was still beating 500. It was like I was in a twilight zone. Never would I image my brother acted that way.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Dancing with the Stars tonight left
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson dominating predictions as this season’s winner. With tonight’s finale dances, Hines Ward and Kym Johnson topped results with a stunning quickstep. Coming into tonight’s next to final telecast of the season, Hines and Kym were ahead by nine points with a 328 overall score. Chelsea and Mark sat in second, and Kirstie and Maks were seventeen points back in third with a 302 score overall. While this season has been marked by stunning eliminations, disproved predictions, and shocking results, tonight’s broadcast solidified one theory; Hines Ward is likely to become the 2011 winner of Dancing with the Stars.

With Hines Ward and Kym Johnson so far out in front before tonight’s telecast, and constantly winning fan and news critics’ praise, it would have taken a complete mess up for Hines to be out of this competition. It just didn’t happen tonight with Hines and Kym virtually perfect.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas and Hines Ward and Kym Johnson’s final scores tonight were both twenty-nines. Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy impressed with a twenty-seven. It was a great night for a great season. But in the end, one couple just held on stronger.

Tonight’s excitement kicked off when Hines Ward and Kym Johnson danced the quickstep to virtual perfection. They scored two perfect tens and one nine for their jaw dropping dance tonight. Len said “The best dancer is going to win a Mirror Ball”. But Len found error with the dance. “As good as that was, for me it’s not quite there yet. This competition is still anyone’s to win or lose.” Bruno didn’t agree. He remarked “You connect with the audience like anyone!” Carrie Ann called it fun and flawless.

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas delivered the same score tonight but with a different dance: the samba. Len seemed split about his emotions, however. “Every rule you break, I’ll be watching you” he remarked. “And I’ll tell you, I liked what I was watching.” Bruno said the couple gave their best performance of the season tonight. “The rhythm, it was flowing through your body like I’ve never seen before.” Carrie Ann was speechless.

Kendra earlier this season thought Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy would win the season. Tonight that didn’t seem possible. With a twenty-seven score, the couple’s samba was not perfect. Len remarked “It was less-aggressive, less full-on, but it had a lovely naturalness about it, which I loved.” Bruno enjoyed it as well. And Carrie Ann said simply “That was a really great samba.”

How about the second round of dances?

Len said “this was so full-on, it was so much attack, and I loved it.” Bruno said he loved how they “interpreted all these Latin rhythms. Carrie Ann again was speechless. Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy scored a second twenty-seven on the freestyle while Hines Ward and Kym Johnson scored a perfect thirty.
