LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Gropegate, the allegations by Elaine Stockton, Anna Richardson, and four others against Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2003, are being revisited this week. Schwarzenegger battled Gropegate just before his 2003 gubernatorial election. Later, Rhonda Miller would sue the Governor for alleged conduct as well. Today details of that scandal are being reexamined.
Schwarzenegger had initially denied any wrongdoing during Gropegate. The Miller suit was allegedly then dismissed. But the the scandal was far from other. Schwarzenegger alleged admitted to “behave badly sometimes” but said that “a lot of what you see in the stories is not true”.
Stockton was the wife of bodybuilder Robby Robinson; Richardson was a British television presenter. Richardson would eventually sue Schwarzenegger as well and reportedly settle the case in 2006.

In October 2003, Schwarzenegger told news that “most of it [news reports] is not true”. “I don’t remember things that I’ve done or said 20 years ago. I don’t remember things that I’ve done 30 years ago.”
He added “And I said that many of the things that are in there are not true because that’s not my behavior,” he told news on October 3 that year.
