Bristol Palin Plastic Surgery Denied as Corrective Jaw Surgery
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Did Bristol Palin have plastic surgery? No, rather she had corrective jaw surgery, Palin tells news Wednesday. Bristol Palin answers plastic surgery critics after she appeared in public with a recent face. Days ago, plastic surgeons armed with publicists sent out press releases to news organizations like LALATE claiming that Palin had extensive plastic surgery.
Not so, says Palin in news interviews today. She instead had corrective jaw surgery.
Palin tells news she would never have plastic surgery unless it was medically necessary. Palin says the reasons she would have plastic surgery would be if, for example, she had suffered disfigurement in an accident.
Palin in news interviews today claims that she had the procedure in December last year. The reason was to realign her jaw and teeth properly. Before and after pictures of Palin shows a substantially longer face, different smile, more pronounced jaw, and higher cheekbones.
Palin says she is happy with results. Fans agree the same. Comments on news sites today are mixed. Readers who also underwent the procedure claimed that procedure dramatically changed their appearance as well. Others disagreed.

BTW who is this dentist who believes that adding to the chin will correct an overbite?
Oral surgeon weighs in on Bristol Palin’s “jaw” surgery:
Emery studied closeup photos of Bristol taken last fall, before the December procedure, and two weeks ago. His verdict?
“It does not appear she had ‘corrective jaw surgery,’ ” he told us. “Her occlusion, ‘her bite,’ appears normal and well aligned in November of 2010 with no visible changes in April of 2011.” It’s clear to him that she’s undergone “some procedure on her chin, either a genioplasty or a chin implant. It also appears as if she has had liposuction under her jaw, a submental lipectomy.”
In layman’s terms: Sounds like cosmetic work.
