LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – The Karina Smirnoff Playboy pictures are drawing scores from the Dancing with the Stars’ most critical judge: Hugh Hefner. Karina Smirnoff’s Playboy photos come in a season in which the pro dancer has a chance of winning it all. This season, Karina and Ralph Macchio have stunned the judges. But this April, Karina stunned Hef with a spread that he gave top scores.

In a news statement to LALATE, Playboy remarks “The Ukranian beauty exudes [hotness] … on the dance floor and in the pages of Playboy.”

The publication tells LALATE this week that “When she’s not in the studio perfecting her dance moves, Karina keeps herself busy by designing shoes for Bearpaw, promoting her new fitness DVD Shape Up with Karina Smirnoff, working on her makeup line with Girlactik Beauty, and planning her upcoming wedding to Detroit Tigers pitcher Brad Penny.”

In previous seasons, the “stars” of Dancing with the Stars have not been the pro dancers. But this season, that is changing with Smirnoff and Co dominating news off the ballroom floor. Now Karina is getting top praise from Playboy’s head for her upcoming pictures. Earlier this month, Karina posed for the publication. Now Hef tells news that those April 6 Playboy pics are “unforgettable”.

And while the unforgettable spread hits stands this May 2011, Karina is delivering unforgettable dance performance this season with Ralph Macchio.

Previously the two delivered a twenty-one score on the jive. In week one, they delivered an enormous twenty-four for their Foxtrot. Carrie Ann Inaba was blown away “That was just an amazing surprise!” Len Goodman said “It’s the best foxtrot tonight. Well done!” And Bruno eighteen praised the pair, “Watch your hand though, because sometimes it’s very, very weird.”
