
LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Lesley Herring, sister of actress Aasha Davis, remains missing. Tonight, Lesley Herring’s disappearance is covered by Nancy Grace. In a news statement to LALATE, HLN details that tonight’s Nancy Grace: America’s Missing “will be conducting an in-depth expose of 46-year-old Lesley Herring from Hollywood, CA who disappeared in February 2009.” Grace’s show “aims at finding 50 people in 50 days.”
First detailed on LALATE in March 2009, Herring disappeared in the Los Angeles area, leaving few clues. Her sister is Aasha Davis who has appeared in Gilmore Girls, Grey’s Anatomy, House M.D., E.R., & the Shield. Aasha is best known as Waverly Grady on Friday Night Lights and as Chelsea Lewis on South of Nowhere.

Aasha first reported Lesley missing in February 2009. Davis’ body has never been found. Husband Lyle Herring pleaded not guilty when charged with Lesley’s murder in 2010. Herring was arrested at the time at California State University, Northridge, his place of employment.
The LAPD issued the following news statement last year about the case. “Lesley Herring was last seen on February 8, 2009, by her husband, Lyle Herring. Homicide Detectives believe Lesley is missing under suspicious circumstances. Anyone with information should call Homicide Detectives at (213) 972-2915.”
