LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Playboy model Kiana Kim (photos below) and Pete Rose are getting serious, especially now that Rose is divorced. Kiana Kim and Pete Rose have been covered on LALATE as a serious couple since 2009. But during that time, Rose was also still married. This week that all changed.

Rose has filed locally in Los Angeles to end his marriage to Carol Rose. The couple had been married since 1984. Rose had no comment about the divorce news.

But since 2009, Kiana Kim and Pete Rose have certainly heated up news with Rose’s push for Kim to become a major page-turner in publications like Playboy. Kim is a former Korean Airlines’ flight attendant and an Arizona State graduate.

During a 2009 interview, Rose told news about Kim but omitted her name, simply saying  “My girl has finally decided to try to shoot for Playboy, and they were kind enough to give her an opportunity to come to Houston for an interview, and we’re excited about that.” Rose, while still married, had top praise for Kim, calling her educated and intelligent.

News of Kim came at the same time that Hank Aaron was telling press that Rose should be reinstated to baseball after a lifetime ban since 1989.  “I would certainly like to see him in. He belongs in, really” Aaron said then .”His career is one that he needs to be right here in the middle of all of this.”

Kim has appeared locally on Los Angeles morning news broadcast. She states that she “can be seen frequently on a segment of NBC’s Today in LA “The Morning Wakeup Workout”. “
