LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown, is fighting back against new scandal photos published by the National Enquirer. Bobbi Kristina may only be 17 years old but is the subject of shocking allegations by the newspaper, assertions that she says are false.

The National Enquirer’s assertions about Bobbi Kristina come days after Steve Jobs appeared live at an Apple iPad2 press conference announcement, despite the National Enquirer’s report that he was to die by roughly this week. Also this month, the publishing entity behind the Enquirer was sued by Katie Holmes; months earlier the Enquirer also wrongly reported that John Edwards and Rielle Hunter were engaged.

The latest allegation concerns Bobbi Kristina who turns 18 on Friday. But yesterday, she took to twitter to denounce the pending publication.

“A former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like,” she wrote on Twitter Wednesday. “God will smite them yes.” “But it’s really not what it looks like,” Brown added. “People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.”

Bobbi Kristina later thanked her mom for support. “[M]om just comforted me to the max.”

Who was behind the pictures? Bobbi Kristina wrote “The person that did this was a result of a horrible relationship that went sour”. She admits that she had learned a lesson and hopes other young females don’t get trapped in the same dilemma. “I was in love — he was in love with money. I’ve learned my lesson.”
