Jon Cryer Not Shocked but Celebrities Baffled by Sheen Rants

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Jon Cryer is not “shocked” nor “saddened” confirms his rep to news. But other celebrities are definitely baffled by Charlie Sheen’s antics in (verified) messages they released to news this weekend. “Jon Cryer shocked” was among the headlines heating up the latest Sheengate updates as news outlets today fell for a fake online social networking account, of which Cryer has none. And while news were salivating for a statement from Cryer about his co-star, instead he’s remained quiet.
So much cannot be said for other celebrities today, who twenty-four hours before the Oscars, and speaking about one of Hollywood’s highest paid actors.
Many are baffled how Sheen’s could simply not get along with the very same producer(s) that he chose to return to work with last year. Sheen could have walked away from future seasons of “Two and a Half Men”. Instead, after exhaustive negotiations, Sheen’s team confirmed to news his return, for two more seasons.
While CBS, Warner Bros, and Sheen have never commented about the details of Sheen’s new lucrative contract, reports claim Sheen would have been paid $27.5 million for a 24 episode 2010-2011 season. What do other celebrities (who don’t get paid $27.5 million a year from a TV show) think about Sheen this weekend?
John Stamos jabbed “Contrary to the rumors, I am not replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and Half Men. however, Martin Sheen has asked me to be his son.”
Sheen was reportedly set to make between $1.5 and $2 million per episode this season. Sheen now tells news that he is worth $5 million per season. No other broadcaster has yet agreed with Sheen’s valuation. Dane Cook kidded “There is a little bit of Charlie Sheen in all of us. Well… okay… maybe not all of us.” Lisa Lampanelli had similar such remarks on Twitter.
In a news statement this week, CBS said Sheen’s behavior prompted an immediate end of production for the current season of his hit show. With that news, some questioned what would happen to the beloved sitcom.
With Chuck Lorre and the rest of the show remaining silent, CBS’ hit sitcom is slowly taking form as its newest drama … with no end to this storyline in sight.
