Arkansas Struck by Earthquakes Today

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Arkansas was hit by a series of earthquakes since last ngiht. The latest earthquake struck today near Little Rock shortly after 1 am local time this morning.
The first earthquake struck around 6:30 pm local time Wednesday night. Centered three miles from Guy, Arkansas, the 3.4 magnitude quake was less than three miles below the earth’s surface. Hours later, a second quake struck with a magnitude 3.0.
This morning’s quake registered a 3.2 magnitude and was three miles below the earth’s surface. The quake was two miles from Guy, six miles from Damascus and Twin Groves, and nineteen miles from Conway.
The shallow quake was roughly forty miles from Little Rock and two hundred fifty miles from St Louis. No reports of injuries or damage have been released.
In related news, a 5.1 earthquake struck also this morning in Chile. Only fifteen miles below the earth’s surface the quake was fifty miles from Cauquenes and Concepcion and roughly two hundred miles from Santiago.
