Yesha Callahan Photo Revealed from Christopher Lee Shirtless Picture Scandal

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Yesha Callahan (photo below) has been revealed as the recipient of Rep Christopher Lee’s shirtless pictures. Yesha Callahan is the Craigslist flirt that solicited male companions, collected pictures from her male suitors, and began chatting up Chris Lee. But rather than meet up Lee, Yesha Callahan turned on Christopher Lee, dishing her story to Gawker and ultimately embarrassing the Congressman, all with the promise from Gawker that her own identity would never be revealed.

News reports ended those hopes Friday.

Yesha Callahan is an employee with the University of Maryland. But what was Yesha Callahan’s real purpose on Craigslist? Was Yesha Callahan even seeking to date? Or was she seeking just to solicit random pictures with no intentions of ever meeting the men, and then doing online searches of their identities?

Without revealing her name, Yesha Callahan granted an interview this week to TheLoop21.com. Yesha says that she “thought it would be fun to see what type of men would me their photos”. But it remains unclear if Yesha Callahan ever intended in meeting her suitors. In fact, TheLoop21.com reports “After all, it had started out as a joke.”

A joke?

Yesha’s posting on CL was “Will someone prove to me not all CL men look like toads.” But when Yesha Callahan got Chris Lee’s shirtless picture, she had enough to determine if he looks like a toad or not.

Instead, she took it a step further.

Now she began an online search to find his identify. She doesn’t tell  TheLoop21.com whatever happened to the other potential male suitors.  But after searching for Lee online, Yesha found out that Lee was older that he indicated, with a child, and married. So what did she do? Rather than confront Lee and handle it privately, she exposed him publically, contacting Gawker News.  Three hours later after news broke, Lee resigned.

Yesha didn’t reveal her name to Gawker and only granted the interview on the hope she would be able to remain faceless in her story. “My friend said I should give it to Gawker, but I did not want to be exposed. I wanted to remain anonymous, but she assured me Gawker would keep me anonymous” she tells TheLoop21.com.

Gawker kept those assurances. Since then, other news have revealed Yesha’s identity.

When asked if she feels guilty that he resigned, Yesha says no.  She says the only lesson to be learned if “if you’re going to do dirt, do it anonymously.” And while Yesha dished the dirt anonymously to Gawker News, Radar Online has since revealed her name, and of course, her Craigslist picture.

When asked where was she when Yesha found out that Chris Lee had resigned,  she responded “I was out on a date.”

Update – Callahan has revealed more about the controversy on her website www.flyblackchick.com. She says she didn’t get paid by Gawker. But she adds “Nothing is anonymous.  I learned that the hard way this week.  Then you have people who want to search and dig. See the difference between them and myself, I didn’t have to dig hard.”
