NEW YORK (LALATE) – What happened to the Real Housewives of New York new season four premiere? Real Housewives of New York’s new season four premiere has dominated promos on Bravo throughout the months of December and this January. As Beverly Hills was wrapping up, viewers were being told that New York was premiering within days.
In fact, Bravo even gave a February 15th premiere date.
Today, without much fanfare, reportedly buried in a news statement, Bravo booted New York from its February return date. Why? Some reports are speculating a March return date is now being pursued for the ladies in the Big Apple.
Taking a February 22 debut is an unexpected Real Housewives of Miami debut. Bravo has yet to indicate if the Real Housewives of OC Season 6 is being pushed back from its March 6 premiere as well.
Of late, Bravo appears to be testing the airing of two Housewives series simultaneously, from different coasts. It was Atlanta and Beverly Hills. Now if scheduling doesn’t change, it will be O.C. and Miami.
While Bravo hasn’t yet explained why New York was pushed back, programming execs typically air warm weather climate series during the winter (as is happening this week on HGTV for example).
