CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – Jeff Lacy’s brother Hydra Lacy, 39, is dead in a shootout today. Hydra Lacy is the brother of Jeff “Left Hook” Lacy, claims FOX News Monday. Tom Baitinger and Jeffrey Yaslowitz were shot by Hydra Lacy claim investigators.

Jeff Lacy is best known as the former two time IBF super middleweight world champion. But on Monday, his older brother Hydra was been served a warrant. Hydra Lacy had an extensive criminal record that included nearly fifteen years behind bars.

In 2008, Hydra Lacy had multiple arrests stemming from violation probation and domestic disturbances. While a registered offender, Hydra’s location was unknown; the Florida Department of Law Enforcement had no active current address for Hydra in recent years.

Two St Petersburg officers were fatally shot by Lacy today; a U.S. Marshall was also wounded. Tom Baitinger and Jeffrey Yaslowitz were identified as the fallen officers.

Officers had gone to a residence to interview Lacy’s girlfriend and serve as search warrant at 7 am local time today. Shortly thereafter, gunfire erupted at the located at residence at 3734 28th Ave. St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster said in a news statement today , “It’s a dark day for the city of St. Petersburg.”

Memorial services for Tom Baitinger and Jeffrey Yaslowitz have yet to be announced.

MOSCOW (LALATE) – A bomb inside Moscow’s Domodedovo airport has killed 35 and injured 130. Moscow’s terrorist attack struck at 4:40 pm local time today. Initial report of fatalities from the explosion have been upgrade from 31 dead and 120 injured initially reported by news less than an hour ago. Moscow officials confirm the Domodedovo Airport bombing was the result of not one but two suicide bombers. Airport officials confirm Domodedovo but some flights have been canceled.

One witness claims that the bombs were not transported in luggage. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev told news during a briefing this morning that the attack was launched by terrorist; President Barack Obama has confirmed the same in a news statement early morning in Washington D.C.

Spokeswoman for the Russian Investigative Committee, Tatyana Morozova, has yet to confirm which persons or groups are suspected for the terrorist attack. Morozova also reports the injured count may reach 152.

Meantime, airport officials confirm that their airport is open after an initial 20 minute lockdown follwoing the attack. But other airlines are cancelling flight into the airport. Lufthansa confirms its flights into Domodedovo are cancelled effective immediately.

No Americans have been confirmed among today’s victims. Moscow is served by three airports; Domodedovo is the largest.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Mary Harvey, Steve Harvey’s ex wife, says she is being sued by the radio personality. Mary Harvey posted YouTube videos online about Steve Harvey this weekend explaining her allegations. Oprah allegedly passed on a show for Steve Harvey because of Mary’s claims about Steve, claims the ex wife in the newly released videos.

Ann Oldenburg reports there are as many as three videos, roughly approximately a half hour in length, in which Mary Harvey says Steve Harvey cheated on her, turned her son against her, kicked her out of their house and left her penniless. She says that Steve Harvey has no business publishing relationship books starting in 2007 because he allegedly was unfaithful during their own marriage.

But the peculiar revelation concerns Oprah.

Mary claims Oprah declined giving Steve a TV show because of events in their marriage. “In Steve’s opinion, I was responsible when Oprah did not give him a TV show. I’m being sued for that as I sit here on the sofa today. … That is why I’m saying what I have to say.”

Steve Harvey and Oprah have yet to comment about Mary’s remarks.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Oprah Winfrey has a secret sister, Patricia. Oprah’s half-sister Patricia is revealed by mother Vernita Lee and Oprah on today’s “Family Secret” episode. For months, word of Oprah’s secret sister has swirled unconfirmed across news sites. Today, Oprah made it official.

On a Monday broadcast, Oprah Winfrey reveals she has a half-sister named Patricia who was given up for adoption by mother Vernita Lee. Oprah reveals that she learned the news in 2010 and reunited with Patricia late last year.

The reunion first occurred last Thanksgiving in Milwaukee.

In advance of today’s broadcast, Oprah had told news “I thought I’d seen it all. But this, my friends, is the miracle of all miracles. I was given some news that literally shook me to my core. This time, I’m the one being reunited. Only a handful of people in my life know about this. I’ve been keeping a family secret for months, and you’re going to hear it straight from me.”

The revelation of a secret sister was covered in Kitty Kelly’s book. Kelly did not reveal Patricia’s name but wrote in her book that Lee “gave away shortly after she was born because she couldn’t afford to take care of her.” Unconfirmed reports claimed that Kelly shared details of her findings privately with Oprah.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Elaine LaLanne says Jack LaLanne was an American icon and the best partner a wife could ever have. Jack LaLanne died Sunday at age 96. Jack LaLanne’s cause of death was respiratory failure brought upon by pneumonia. LaLanne had undergone a heart valve surgery two years earlier.

In a statement issued to news, Elaine LaLanne said of Jack “I have not only lost my husband and a great American icon, but the best friend and most loving partner anyone could ever hope for.”

Jack LaLanne once said “Exercise is king and diet is queen; put them together and you’ve got an empire.” He also said “You eat every day, you sleep every day, and your body was made to exercise every day.”

Family members confirm the fitness guru was working out right upon until his death.  Jack LaLanne dominated TV shows from nearly three decades. He later opened a series of health clubs and launched a Power Juicer machine.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Jack LaLanne will be greatly missed.
