LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Coachella has yet to confirm news that its 2011 lineup will be announced today Tuesday as many websites are reporting. Coachella has indicated that will announce its 2011 bands shortly; but while reports suggest that news could come Tuesday or Wednesday, organizers have yet to verify such reports. “Coachella is coming, and so is the announcement” was updated by organizers on their Facebook page last weekend.
But which bands will be added to this year’s festival?
Billboard is reporting news that The Stokes and Duran Duran will headline the event. Billboard reports the two bands have been offered spots and confirmed for the festival. As NME reports, the Billboard source “ruled out an appearance from Daft Punk”, while news of Fanfarlo and Tame Impala being added to the line-up has been confirmed.
Concert dates this year will run April 15 to April 17.
