NEW YORK (LALATE) – Is the Millionaire Matchmaker losing Patti Stanger after next season? A new report claims that Patti Stanger’s Million Matchmaker season 5 might be her last for Bravo. The report claims that Stanger wants to continue the show for season 6 but her … match … with Bravo may not last.
Patti Stanger’s show, and personal life, has undergone changes in recent years. In advance of her wedding, Stanger and Andy Friedman broke up. Stanger said the reason they broke up is over the issue of kids. “I just ended my relationship with Andy. It hit me really hard that I want kids in my life. You have to agree on the non-negotiables.”
Stanger had made news with her own … match … thirteen months earlier. It remains unclear when did Stanger suddenly realize her own match didn’t want kids. In fact, Andy Friedman through a matchmaker 5 1/2 years before the planned nuptials. “I have a rule, if you go out a year and he doesn’t propose, it goes up a carat a year” Stanger told news in 2010.
Stanger would eventually move her show to New York for this current season. But as season 4 ended this month, hopefuls reunited this week to watch the finale episode. They did not have good things to say about Patti Stanger to the New York Post. While Stanger and Bravo are currently shooting a fifth season, will it be Stanger’s last?
“She thinks they aren’t giving her the respect she deserves and she’s telling friends that she’s shopping her show to other networks. But Bravo is tired of her antics, insists it owns ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ and wants to continue the show with a different matchmaker” claims the New York Post. Bravo says no decision has been made for season 6, Stanger did not comment on the report.
