Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole Sue Brett Favre

NEW YORK (LALATE) – Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole, the Jets massage therapists, have filed suit against Brett Favre, the Jets, and Lisa Ripi, a massage coordinator. Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole (no photos yet released to news) were not part of the NFL investigation against Favre according to Roger Goodell.
But today, their attorney disagreed.
Roger Goodell, while not referring to them by name, said persons with “potentially relevant information” were not cooperative. Their attorney, David Jaroslawicz, disagrees. He claims he told NFL investigators what his clients knew.
In October 2010, details first surfaced about Favre allegedly pursuing two then unidentified Jets massage therapists. Reportedly, during the 2008 season, the Jets organization hired 17 therapists as independent contractors (non staff employees) to assist the team at two-day training camp at Hofstra University.

During a rubdown session, Favre was accused of looking at one female therapist like a piece of meat. Brett Favre then solicited another’s phone number suggesting he wanted more team services later on. Instead, Favre allegedly had other intentions.
One of the therapists and her husband told news at the time that Favre called repeatedly and sent text and emails. Among them, one read “why don’t you and your friend come over . . . I have all these bad intentions.”

After one massage therapist told Favre she was married, she claims she didn’t get the type of apology she wanted. Instead, her husband called up Favre. He says Favre didn’t apologize.
Favre when asked about the matter at the time said “I’m not getting into that. I’ve got my hands full with the Jets and am trying to get some timing down with our guys, so that’s all I’m going to discuss.”
Playboy’s Jenn Sterger (photos above) had said of Favre in February that he’s “creepy…. I just want to make it clear I never met him, saw him, etc. because I don’t roll that way, meaning old . . . or married.”
Today, Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole confirmed news they are suing Favre, the Jets and the coordinator. They claim they got blackballed after reporting Favre’s alleged conduct. Lisa Ripi sent Scavo a reported series of emails in which Ripi called Favre a “pervert.”
The lawsuit claims one Ripi email reads “There are ways to handle things in a professional manner and ways to be compensated not in public. … All this nonsense is unnecessary. For sure feel horrible that u had to go thru that w a pervert. … He was wrong on all counts…and we could have helped u a lot more at that time.”
Jaroslawicz said his clients were furious about the Sterger decision by Goodell and hence decided to file suit. Favre and the Jets have yet to comment.
