BEVERLY HILLS (LALATE) – Was Bravo accurate about Camille Grammer’s Playboy past in the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Camille Grammer’s Playboy pictures (as Camille Donatacci) come up in this month’s notable “Dinner from Hell” episode in which Grammer fumes against Playboy’s Faye Resnick over Resnick’s own photos. During the broadcast, the Bravo episode suggests that Camille Grammer appeared completed clothed in Playboy, in lingerie.
But is that true?
A quick perusal online will reveal that Camille Donatacci appeared very much unclothed in a series of photos purported to have been taken for Playboy. In many of the photos, there is no lingerie in the picture.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama all started this month .. in Malibu. Camille Grammer invited the Beverly Hills Housewives to her enormous Malibu mansion for an evening of drinks and dinner.
Joining for the night was guest Faye Resnick. Resnick of course appeared in the notable Playboy Magazine spread during the OJ Simpson trial. During the dinner, Camille turns to the table and says “Who is Faye? … I know she looks familiar, but I don’t know who she is.”
At that point, other cast members including Kim Richards contended Camille was playing dumb. Camille continues “Oh, I know how I know her. I saw her [unclothed] in Playboy. She posed … in Playboy after the OJ Trial.”

Immediately, the Housewives turned red, and not from the drinks. Lisa’s reaction was “As a host of a dinner party, I would not have said that.” Camille then begins to “cast stones” at Faye Resnick for her Playboy unclothed issue. “I realized, oh my God, it’s Faye Resnick. The morally corrupt, Faye Resnick.”
From there, the Real Housewives episode seemed to turn into a “Cop Without a Badge” plot – Housewives bringing up another Housewife’s past.
Kyle, Resnick’s friend, then fires back at Camille Grammer. “Camille, didn’t you do, Playboy?” Camille responds “Yes, years ago, I didn’t do the main [magazine].” Grammer claims on camera that she didn’t do Playboy Magazine but Playboy’s Lingerie book. “I did the Playboy Line Lingerie.” As the below video shows, Taylor Armstrong then states, with subtitles, that Camille appeared clothed in Playboy.
Taylor says “It’s clothed? You wearing lingerie. You aren’t [unclothed]“. Camille doesn’t respond. And then the camera cuts to Lisa’s thoughts on the matter.
Lisa says “Lingerie? I thought the whole point of Playboy is no lingerie.”
A quick perusal online will reveal that Camille Donatacci did appear clothed, but also very unclothed, for a series of pictures alleged to have been taken for Playboy. One series of pictures shows Camille Grammer on a boat near the Statute of Liberty in a possible swimsuit, without her bottom, another without her top, another with nothing but a hat.
So was Camille only selling clothing? In several photos she is wearing either no clothes, or only a hat or rollerblades. Kyle says “Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones, and she threw a big bolder”.
