Edison Pena – Chilean Miner Unimpressed by Statue of Liberty

NEW YORK (LALATE) – The Chilean miner, in coming to America this week, was unimpressed with the Statute of Liberty. Edison Pena in seeing the Statute of Liberty thought it was short. He wasn’t wearing his sunglasses at the time.
Edison Pena is touring America in the next few weeks. But in his stops in New York this week, he took in sights of Lady Liberty and a taste of a New York hot dog. Pena had nothing good to say about either of them.
“It is not white? I thought it was bigger and whiter!” exclaimed Pena about the Statue of Liberty.
So then Pena thought he might take in a New York tradition – a famed hot dog. After a few bites, Edison Pena – who has been photographed often with a disgusted look in the last few days – was asked what thought about the hot dog.
“So so” says Pena. If not enough, Pena added “In Chile, they are better!”
Pena says he will be able to finish the New York marathon Sunday under six hours. Future stops in his tour of America will be Las Vegas, to see Viva Elvis, and Graceland in January.
