LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – A Patek Philippe 5970 (photos below), aka the 5970P001 was the Charlie Sheen watch lost during his Capri Anderson encounter. LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Jessica Simpson is not pregnant, but hopes to be pregnant, claims a new report. The latest Jessica Simpson pregnant claims is that Simpson and Eric Johnson hope to have a baby soon; yet when the pregnancy would happen is still not clear.

The latest Simpson twist is nothing new for celebrities. In the latest Enquirer, readers think they are learning that Simpson is pregnant only to discover that Simpson hopes to be pregnant. Kim Kardashian has long perfected the celebrity “hope” news stories, from Kim hoping to be married to Kim even hoping to be pregnant herself.

The basis of the latest claim is that Simpson has allegedly put on 15 pounds in 60 days. Simpson is said to be so happy about becoming a mother in the future that she has started “eating for two” claims the paper. Of course, since Simpson isn’t pregnant, she’s apparently eating for one, not two; perhaps that might explain the alleged weight gain.

And while Simpson might dominate the pregnant celebrity news stories this week, it’s OK! Magazine that has perfected the art of baby news reports.  In April it was “Finally Baby for Jen!” “Jen very much wants to have a baby girl. She had a heart-to-heart with friends and relatives and admitted this is the year she’s going to become a mom.” In June it was “Yes I Am Having a Baby”. “Why Jen’s finally ready now! Who might the daddy be?”

Five months after Aniston’s first “Baby for Jen” cover appeared, Aniston is still not pregnant.

LITTLE ROCK (LALATE) – Clint McCance (photo above) did post the Facebook anti-gay rant and is now resigning. Clint McCance resigns following a Facebook profile post that gay teens should kill themselves. Clint McCance said he would kick his own kids out if  they told him they were gay. He said being gay is not Christian and it “infects” everyone. McCane even wrote that “I also enjoy the fact that they often give each other aids and die.”

The Human Rights Campaign had called for McCane’s resignation. Fire Clint McCance had called for his outset through an online effort. The Arkansas Department of Education had denounced the remarks. Superintendent Dean Stanley wrote “Every student life is equally valuable … Everyone really is someone special and deserves to be treated with care and respect.”

Now Clint McCance, a member of the Midland school board in Pleasant Plains, is resigning. He made the announcement on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360.”  He told Cooper that his resignation is “to help my school, my community. “The only thing I can do is extend my apologies for my poor speech. I don’t wish death on anyone.”

McCane said he had himself received thousands of messages threatening violence upon him in the wake of his Facebook post. The Facebook rant came after McCane reacted to people wearing purple on October 20. “Seriously they want me to wear purple because five q–rs killed themselves. The only way im wearin it for them is if they all commit suicide. I cant believe the people of this world have gotten this stupid. We are honoring the fact that they sinned and killed thereselves because of their sin.”

He later added “I would disown my kids they were gay. They will not be welcome at my home or in my vicinity. I will absolutely run them off. Of course my kids will know better. My kids will have solid christian beliefs. See it infects everyone.”

CORAL CABLES – Celine Dion has named son Eddy after the late Eddy Marnay. Celine Dion has honored Eddy Marnay, her reps tell news today, whose impact on Dion’s career was critical. Marnay passed in 2002 and age 82. Celine Dion was only a teenager in Quebec in the 1980s when Eddy Marnay started writing for her. Marnay’s songs for Dion were French language hits.

The Algerian born songwriter had moved to Paris in the 1930s. His collaboration on Lovers of Paris for Édith Piafput him on the map in 1948. By 1957, he wrote the title song for A King in New York for Charlie Chaplin.

But decades later, Marnay’s song La Voix du Bon Dieu is said to have changed Dion’s life. That french language hit earned Dion a contract with CBS Records. He would go on to produce the singer’s first five records.

Dion’s rep today says to PEOPLE “He was like a father to her. Eddy is a major influence in both Céline and René’s lives.” Dion and husband Rene named Eddy’s twin Nelson, after Nelson Mandela. Mandela and Dion met two years ago.

LONDON (LALATE) – Javier Hernandez (Chicharito), reported to be dating Chaska Borek (photos below) has become the new hero of Manchester United says Alex Ferguson. Gary Neville says Javier Hernandez doesn’t just work hard but “very hard, incredibly hard” to achieve what he has done for Man United recently. And yet despite all this, Hernandez says he is not at United for his ego; he’s there for a team and to win lots of trophies.

Ferguson, in speaking with news today, says Manchester United builds up its heroes very fast for a club. Javier Hernández is the latest result of that praise. Ferguson tells the Guardian that all the praise is well deserved. “The boy is justifying all the praise he’s getting at the moment. He’s very professional, first out on the training ground and the last one back in every day.”

But when asked by the Telegraph what he thought of becoming United’s new hero, Hernández says “The most important thing is that there are no heroes – it’s all about the effort of the team and my goals are down to my team-mates.” He adds that he is on the field to score goals for his team not for himself.

But he also admits he loves playing for United and wants to stay a long time. “I’m working hard because I want to stay here a long time and win lots of trophies.”

That attitude is a far cry from the contract confusion that Wayne Rooney left fans in just days ago, first suggesting his depature from United and then re-signing. Rooney then said “I am sure the fans over the last week have felt let down by what they have read and seen. But my position was from concern over the future. The fans have been brilliant with me since I arrived and it’s up to me through my performances to win them over again.”
