LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Victoria Rathgeb (Playboy photos below), aka Victoria Vetri or Angela Dorian, remains jailed tonight. Victoria Rathgeb was known as Angela Dorian when her stunning pictures earned her the Playboy’s Playmate of the Year title in 1968. Tonight, new details about the shooting, her arrest, and Rathgeb’s bail.
First, Victoria Rathgeb’s bail now stands at $1.5 million, not $1 million as initially reported. Second, the man Victoria allegedly shot was not her boyfriend but her husband, Bruce Rathgeb. The shooting was during a domestic dispute Saturday evening at the couple’s home in Hollywood. And lastly, Bruce Rathgeb’s condition is not as promising as initially reported. Bruce Rathgeb is in critical condition still as of Wednesday evening reports Los Angeles police spokeswoman Norma Eisenman.
Dorian is a graduate of Hollywood High School. In being selected Playmate of the Year in 1968, Ventri was given $20,000 in prizes and a pink AMC AMX. She appeared in Rosemary’s Baby. Her TV appearances included the role of Isis on Star Trek and Carla in Hogan’s Heroes. For Batman, she appeared as Florence of Arabia. In Mission Impossible, she was Eve Zembra.
Eisenman has no details as to what led up to the shooting. Victoria Rathgeb Tuesday pleaded no guilty to attempted murder charges. LAPD tells news that Rathgeb’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Novmeber 1, 2010. Rathgeb was arrested on Oct. 16 f
