LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Vanilla Ice is taking on Jeff Lewis, and Jenni Pulos might never rap again. Jenni Pulos raps for Zoila Chavez the maid in the current season of the hit reality Bravo show “Flipping Out”. But this Thursday night, Pulos is joined by another rapper doing a home-flipping reality show.

Yes, Vanilla Ice is becoming the next Jeff Lewis, set to star in a reality show about flipping houses, on a competing network. Sarah Berkman and Polo Loco are not set to make an appearance. The show is called “The Vanilla Ice Project” and will premiere this Thursday on the DIY Network. Ice, real name Robert Van Winkle, will reveal to tv audiences that for 10 years he has been flipping homes in Florida communities including Palm Beach.

But while Bravo programming focuses on the quirky nature of its cast members, DIY will be more about drywall and less about irregular stemware and buying frozen embryos from your former boyfriend. Ice tells the Daily News “”I actually get in there and swing a hammer with the guys, so to speak”.

The big notable difference will be the “project”. Ice will do only one house per season, from beginning to end. The show will be like “Extreme Makeover Home Edition”, slowed down. The house will be in Palm Beach. Ryan Brown is not set to guest star.
