LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Playboy featured Jenn Sterger (photos below) for its May 2006 pictorial. Jenn Sterger Playboy photos went and came without much attention a half decade ago. But now, Sterger’s past, from her hot Maxim pictures, to her modeling photos, are all part of the current flow streaming through the Brett Favre scandal.
Sterger was discovered at a FSU Miami game in September 2005. A cameraman caught Sterger during the game and put her on the national tv broadcast. After the Sterger clip, announcer Brent Musburger said “15,000 young red-blooded American men just signed up to go to Florida State next semester.” The following year, Sterger and the FSU women hit the pages of Maxim in print and online. The picture spread was so pouplar that it jumped to the Hot 100 list.
Soon Playboy was calling. Sterger hit the Playboy Magazine in 2006 as it featured the Top Ten Party School’s in a special edition.
Sterger credits launching “Sprint Exclusive Entertainment”. Sprints mobile video content. Sterger has appeared for brands Ed Hardy, 47 Clothing, Maya Swimwear, and many more. On the S.I. website, Sterger appears alongside Frank Deford and Rick Reilly. Reilly and Deford.
Sterger’s Model Mayhem bio features an ironic line: “So keep your … internet ready …because you never know where I will show up next!”
Deadspin said the following about Sterger in July. “We later had a phone conversation about who some of the more well-known [phone]-shot senders were. One person, she claimed, who was very into cell phone-[actions] was none other than Brett Favre. Now, at one point in his career, this news wouldn’t be too surprising. Favre’s time in Green Bay is littered with stories about his boozing and carousing. But gray-haired Favre? Oh yeah, she said. “
Sterger made the allegation after keeping quiet for years. Jenn Sterger claims the photos were during the time Brett was with the Jets and she was a sideline reporter. Sterger says she also got weird voice mails, one of which she played for the Deadspin reporter. Yesterday those alleged voice mails and the alleged picture of Favre hit the Deadspin website.
On Thursdsay, Favre was questioned at the conclusion of a news conference by Brian Costello of the New York Post. Favre said ”You know … I mean …. No.” After the “no”, Favre collects himself and says “I’m not getting into that. I got my hands full with the Jets, and getting my timing down.”
“We are reviewing the matter,” league spokesman Greg Aiello said today of the Favre matter.
