Brett Favre Jenn Sterger Pics Controversy Strikes Jets

NEW YORK (LALATE) – The Brett Favre Jenn Sterger (photos below) controversy got a peculiar response from the former Jets quarterback Thursday. The Brett Favre Jenn Sterger scandal accuses Favre of sending compromising pictures to a team reporter during his time as a quarterback in New York.
Just weeks ago, national news was dominated by conduct of Jets players against Jets reporter Ines Sainz. This time it is alleged conduct of former Jet Brett Favre against Jets reporter Jenn Sterger. But unlike the Sainz scandal, this one is not from the locker room. The scandal allegedly erupted inside Brett Favre’s hotel room where he is accused of inviting his team’s reporter to bed him after practice.
While the story is not new, it got a major update on Thursday. Over the summer, the Brett Favre Jenn Sterger scandal erupted on tabloid website Deadspin. The website’s reporter was interviewing Sterger on the subject of professional athletes who send compromising pics of themselves to others. Sterger suddenly admitted she was a recepient. When pressed, Sterger claimed Brett Favre during his time with the Jets sent her pictuers of himself and left her voicemails asking her to bed him.

During the summer , Favre did not comment; Favre was available for comment but wasn’t asked the question by reporters. When the Brett Favre Jenn Sterger scandal first broke, LALATE reported how ESPN got an interview with Favre that same week. The subject was his return or departure from the NFL. But ESPN didn’t “go there” during the interview.
That changed Thursday.
This week, the NFL began promoting Monday Night Football’s lineup: Vikings and Jets. So, to no coincidence, Deadspin confirmed it had paid for the alleged pictures of Brett Favre and voice mails. At the 11th hour of the Vikings vs Jets, suddenly Deadspin posted the alleged scandal evidence.

On Thurdsay, Favre was questioned at the conclusion of a news conference by Brian Costello of the New York Post. Costello said “Brett there is internet report that acuses you of sending some inappropraite text mesages to a female emplooyee of the Jets while you were there.”
Favre clearly stumbles, stutters, and stops himself midsentence.”You know … I mean …. No.” After the “no”, Favre collects himself and says “Im not getting into that. I got my hands full with the Jets, and getting my timing down.” Sterger, nor the Jets, have commented about the matter this week.
