ATLANTA (LALATE) – Michele Bundy (photo above) has obtained a temporary restraining order against Shannon Sharpe. The Michele Bundy restraining order was granted Thursday against the CBS Sports analysts and former NFL player. Neither Michele Bundy nor Shannon Sharpe have commented on the matter.
The restraining order is temporary, not permanent, was granted on Thursday, with no confirmation that Bundy or Shape were in court, and has no future hearing date set. It’s court status is only “filed”.
The nature of the temporary order cites “Family Violence” as reported first by SportsByBrooks. No explanation was given by Fulton County Sheriff why the matter has no future court hearing set nor the nature of the “family” relationship between Bundy and Sharpe. Details of the alleged violence were also not revealed.
Sharpe reportedly is also next due in court on the Melinda Wilson matter. Sharpe, the plaintiff in that case, is in dispute with Wilson over child support.
AJ Perez reports that “[t]emporary restraining orders typically last 30 days in Georgia, during which time the target of the order is served.” He explains that orders for “family violence” are granted in “offenses of battery, simple battery, simple assault, assault, stalking, criminal damage to property, unlawful restraint, or criminal trespass.”
