Sam Bradford Chosen as Rams Starter

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – The Rams have chosen Sam Bradford as their new starter. The Rams’ selection of Sam Bradford as the teams starter will be revealed in a news conference Saturday morning. Football news reporters took to the Twitter to reveal the details within the last 20 minutes, with Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer tweeting “No surprise here but Sam Bradford will be the rams starting QB week one. Team to announce it today”. ESPN’s Adam Schefter did the same “Sam Bradford will be named Rams starting QB in press conference shortly.”
Bradford struggled in his first pre-season showings. But in later games, Bradford stepped it up, much better than Peyton Manning did his rookie season.
Bradford has told local news that the issue is learning a new offense all over again. Bradford says it’s like starting over at square one. But one notable Bradford remark in USA Today is not comforting to Rams fans who want big wins, right now, this season. Bradford tells the paper “Hopefully, by the end of this year I will be in position to help this team win football games.”
Apparently, the Rams believe Bradford is ready to win now. Manning went 3-13 and through 28 interceptions his first year joining the Colts in ‘97. Bradford is getting $50 million under a six year contract worth as much as $78 million.
