CLEVELAND (LALATE) – Katie Spotz’s oars have been stolen. Katie Spotz’s oars that she used to become the youngest person to row across the Atlantic has been stolen during a car theft. Katie Spotz reveals today that a Monday theft of her 2000 Dodge Carvan ended in a taking of her fame oars used for her row from Africa to South Africa in March.

The minivan has yet to be found. She puts her van contents at $10,000.

She tells Fox 8 News “At first, I was just really confused and I thought that, I don’t know, maybe I parked it somewhere else. I kinda went through my phone and called a few people and said, ‘hey, good joke’, but the joke was on me because they all said they had no idea what I was talking about.”
