LOS ANGELES (LALATE) Merry Christmas II You is Mariah Carey’s 2010 Christmas album, reveals Rap-Up news today. Merry Christmas II You will follow up Merry Christmas (1994), the hit album that launched Carey’s hit “All I want for Christmas is You”.
Merry Christmas II You will be released November 2 and feature Carey covering holiday standards. New material has yet to be confirmed. HSN is set to promote the project with a possible on air appearances by Carey. The Merry Christmas II You album will also be offered as a DVD with packaging shot by David LaChapelle.
In 2009, Carey said of Imperfect Angel “Bcuz I Love U, I want u to be the first to know the title of my new album ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ Its very personal & dedicated to u.â€
Carey’s studio albums this decade have included 2001: Glitter, 2002: Charmbracelet, 2005: The Emancipation of Mimi, and 2008: E=MC².And her other albums including remixes this decade have been 2000: Valentines 2001: Greatest Hits, 2003: The Remixes, and 2008: The Ballads.
