NEW YORK (LALATE) – Traci Johnson (photos below) says Ginny Barber and Tiki Barber were separated when she started romancing Tiki. Traci Lynn Johnson, nearly sixteen months after the Tiki Barber story broke in New York news, is now speaking out, denying that she did anything wrong. Johnson is responding to critics by writing her own entry on website crushable.
So, what helped Tiki and Traci fall in love? Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. “[We were] enjoying an episode of ‘Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman . . . you can find us at a cozy wine bar with friends or playing in a co-ed softball league.”

Ginny is reportedly not quoted for the article. Traci continues to claim about Tiki: “I knew that Tiki didn’t leave Ginny when she was eight months pregnant for me. I knew that his relationship had deteriorated before my relationship with him was even a thought in his mind.” Yet, as reported then on LALATE, the statement released by Tiki Barber on April 7, 2009 said “After 11 years of marriage, Ginny and I have decided to separate. This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to work together to raise our children with the love and dedication they have always known.”
Traci today wants readers to know that she was crying when news broke in April 2009. At the same time, Ginny was the one who was pregnant. “[I was] crying to Tiki . . . begging him to . . . scream it from the top of 30 Rock, to simply tell the world the truth because I thought it was destroying me, him . . . Tiki sat me down . . . and said, “Nothing that I can say will change their perception.”
Barber and Cha married in 1999. Ginny Cha is a fellow University of Virginia alumna. Ginny is a former fashion publicist.
Eli Manning once said the following about Tiki Barber: “I’m not going to lose any sleep about what Tiki has to say. I guess I could have questioned his leadership skills last year with calling out the coach and having articles about him retiring in the middle of the season, and (how) he’s lost the heart (to play). As a quarterback you’re reading that your running back has lost the heart to play the game and it’s about the 10th week. I can see that a little bit at times.”
Tiki Barber played with the NFL Giants from 1997 to 2006. During that time he earned 2,217 carries, 10,449 yards, and 55 TDs. On rushing, Barber in his final season was at his prime, delivering 1662 yards compared to his career season high in 2005 of 1860 yards. That same year he had an impressive 104 yards, his second best season ever. He also delivered 5 TDs compared to 13 in 2004 and 11 in 2002. On receiving, Tiki’s numbers slid in later years, producing 465 yards his final season compared to 530 and 578 in 2005 and 2004. On receiving he also produced no TDs that final season compared to 2 TDs each of the previous seasons.
