I remember Harold Dow interviewing folks after 9/11. He was the only journalist who allowed family members to speak about missing loved ones. Where they alive? Did anyone see them?
All other journalists focused on the collapsed building. Harold Dow focused on the people. At that moment I saw Harold’s humanity. I will never forget that. Thank you Harold for bringing your unique approach to journalism and having an influence on my life.
