LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Sylvester Stallone’s height is only 5′9”. But Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables movie poster puts him standing taller than Randy Couture who is 6′.

The Sylvester Stallone movie poster is heating up net confusion over Stallone’s height growth, miraculously. Steve Austin is 6′1, Mickey Rourke is 5′11”; but you wouldn’t realize that by looking at the poster. In it, Stallone towers over Jet Li. In truth, Li is 5′6” compared to Stallone’s 5′9”.

The film opened at $35 million. Scott Pilgrim failed at a mere $10 million opener.  Gitesh Pandya of Box Office Guru tells MTV about Expendales that “Lionsgate is the best in the business at targeting adult men with ultra-violent fare. ‘Expendables’ worked well at the box office because it offered a value-pack of stars and had great marketing.

“Stallone by himself doesn’t sell, but backed by an army of familiar faces, it became a can’t-miss action film for many people. The misleading push of how Stallone, [Arnold] Schwarzenegger, and [Bruce] Willis were doing their first action movie together probably fooled a few folks into buying tickets too.”
