MALIBU (LALATE) – Dr Frank Ryan, plastic surgeon to Heidi Montag and a host of celebrity clients, has died in a car crash at age 50. Among Dr Frank Ryan’s were Janice Dickinson who called Ryan a genius today.

The dog pictured survived the car crash. “After 25 years of driving by, I finally hiked to the top of the giant sand dune on the pch west of Malibu” Ryan posted to Twitter. ” Much harder than it looks!  Whew! Border collie jill surveying the view from atop the sand dune.”

Dickinson issued the following statement to news today: “Janice is deeply, deeply anguished! She is stunned and wants the world to know what a genius Dr. Ryan was. He was a friend and my love goes out to his mother and the rest of the family.”

Heidi Montag said she was devastated by the news. The two had appeared on numerous talk shows about her plastic surgery procedures. “I am devastated to hear the news of Dr. Frank Ryan’s death. He was the most amazing person I have ever known. He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met. He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist. Dr. Frank Ryan changed the world. “

Montag added “My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone who was ever blessed enough to meet him. He is in a better place.”

Vince Neil called him a “kind hearted person”. Ryan died after his Jeep fell off the side of Pacific Coast Highway at Deer Creek Road in Ventura County at 4:30 PM on Monday. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
