HOLLYWOOD (LALATE) – Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie’s wedding Saturday drew 100 close friends and family. The Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie wedding continued a recent trend of smaller wedding ceremonies for celebrities. Hilary Duff, 22, and Comrie, 29, met when she was 19. He told Hockey Night in Canada at the time “We were all on the same plane and it was kind of, I guess, maybe a bit of a fluke. She calls it ironic. No I’m kidding!. It [was] one of those things where we were all in a group … we spent the weekend all hanging out.”

The couple made it official Saturday in Santa Barbara. Duff wore Vera Wang, her mom wore Badgley Mischka, and her sister Haylie was maid of honor. The professional hockey player previously proposed to her with a $1 million engagement ring.

While reports have yet to be revealed if Duff will release the wedding photos of the event at San Ysidro Ranch, as reported on LALATE last week, the recent celebrity trend is to do a simple release of wedding pictures online to fans via Twitter and Facebook, not in magazines with big spreads.
