LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – While news of Kara DioGuardi reportedly leaving American Idol might be a surprise, Kara DioGuardi had previously told local news that she only had a year-to-year contract.

Kara DioGuardi and Ellen are reportedly been replaced by J Lo and Steven Tyler. (DETAILS HERE). But as covered by LALATE in 2009, Kara has previously made clear she didn’t want to stay with Idol too long. In May 2009, Kara told news “I’m only here for one season….. the only say I have is about Ryan, Randy and Paula. I’ve always made it clear that I wouldn’t like to do the show without them. So that’s all I’m really concerned about.”

Kara returned one more season, reportedly under a single year contract. But after the departure of Simon, Kara was concerned about the musical integrity of the show and the dynamic of judge-hopefuls.

“You have to have somebody who knows about signing great artists and being a part of their career from the very beginning to the very end… I think that’s probably a precursor for whoever takes that position if they’re not a big artist who’s been through it themselves.”

“We’re all there to do one thing and that’s to find the greatest contestant that we can find. That’s what the focus is, and I know Ellen and Simon both take that seriously.”

“I really don’t want to speak about Paula’s absence because you can’t really compare Paula and Ellen. They’re completely different and I think they both bring something valuable to the table.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Montana Fishburne (Chip-D, Chippy-D), pictures below, says on video tape that she is dating J-Pipes. The Montana Fishburne J-Pipes revelation comes a day before Friday’s news reports that Fishburne, daughter of Lawrence Fishburne, will appear in an August tape / film release.

J-Pipes’ real name is not given during the video interview. Pipes appears with Fishburne on camera in an interview conducted with 29-year old New York native B Pumper (aka Brian Pumper or Bling Man). The multiple award winning film actor, producer and director has nearly 750 credits since 2001; a 2008 press described him as having “an enthusiastic approach” and “very polished” boasting “strengths as a .. director” as well.

In December 2009, he launched his own film production company. Today’s reports cite a different production company behind the Montana Fishburne film release this August.

Brian said he grew up in a tough neighborhood but knew he was going to be successful “Ever since I was a kid, growing up in a tough neighborhood, people tried to keep me down. But, uh uh … I knew I’d be successful.”

The distributor of Montana Fishburne’s film has yet to confirm if Lawrence Fisburne’s daughter will appear in one title or multiple films in 2010 or 2011. Nor is confirmed if J-Pipes or Brian is Fishburne’s co-star, nor if she will appear under her real name or the proposed name she offered during a video interview of “Chip-D” or “Chippy-D”.

While the name Chip-D nor Chippy-D is explained, Montana Fishburne does explain her reason for the film distribution deal. Montana says she hopes it will be “a step in a direction”.

She doesn’t indicate what the direction that is.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler are in for American Idol, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi are out for Idol 2011. Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler news has yet to be confirmed by American Idol nor FOX; but multiple Los Angeles reports are stating J Lo and Tyler are in as your new judges.

“It was a joy to work with Ellen,” added Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “She brought an incredible spirit to IDOL and was a great new addition to the team.  While we’re saddened by her decision, we are very appreciative that she gave us ample notice so that we could work through it together.”

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Montana Fishburne is excited about her “tape”. The tape has made Montana Fishburne, Lawrence Fishburne’s daughter, not livid but happy. She even admits she is orchestrating its release this August.

Unlike other celebrities in recent years who have acted to have blocked their tapes’ releases, only to agree to their distribution and become instant millionaires overnight, Montana Fishburne, daughter of famed Hollywood actor Lawrence Fishburne, won’t be acting up a fake response on this distribution deal.  Reports Friday say her co-star is “film” star Brian Pumper. Brian and Montana appear in a YouTube video in which he discusses the industry (screenshots in Set 3 below).

In fact, Montana Fishburne says Kim Kardashian isn’t famous for much of anything except her tape. Zing. “I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her … tape.”

Kendra Wilkinson, who stars the same broadcasting network as Kim Kardashian (E!), said she was opposed to the release of her tape. Yet reports claimed the Wilkinson’s tape made her fortunes within just thirty days. The man on the tape with Kendra was Justin Frye, a former MMA fighter. Justin Frye’s last fight was in 2006, and he won it.

RANCHO VISTA (LALATE) – The Crown Fire is now further threatening Leona Valley, Rancho Vista, Agua Dulce, and west of Palmdale regions tonight. The Crown Fire has advanced so fast that LA Fire reports the Crown Fire is consuming close to 1000 acres per hour. Between 11 pm and 12 midnight tonight Thursday, the Crown Fire has jumped from 4500 acres to 6000 acres burned. The Crown Fire had only burned 15 acres at 2 pm and 2,000 acres by 8:30 PM.  But tonight, high winds and fire-generated winds are fueling its advance.

There are NEW UPDATES on the Crown Fire now at midnight. Additional evacuations have been issued and one evacuation center has been closed.

First, new evacuations have been given for Ana Verde. Residents in Quartz Hill are also in the fire’s latest path. Capt Sam Paddilla says residents in neighboring regions should be prepared for additional evacuations overnight. Second, only two evacuations for residents are now open. Residents should go solely to Agua Dulce Elementary School at 11311 Frascati Street or Marie Kerr Park at 2730 West Rancho Vista Blvd as of 11:40 PM Thursday night.

Finally, without given a specific number, nor the community, LA Fire has confirmed several structures have been lost tonight in the Crown Fire. As many as 700 fire personnel are responding to the blaze and its advances through Friday morning.
