WASILLA (LALATE) - The Levi Johnston Bristol Palin engagement is over, claims a report. The Levi Johnston Bristol Palin engagement comes as sketchy details about another Johnston ex girlfriend Briana Plum surface Saturday.

E! News today claims a picture of Plum and Johnston on Facebook was the cause for Bristol to “hold off” on the engagement. (The picture is not included in the E! report.)

Last week’s turn of events about Lanesia Garcia and Levi Johnston appeared to raise an eyebrow among skeptics. Garcia tells US Magazine that she’s 9 months pregnant. But suddenly, out of nowhere, multiple reports were dragging Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston into her pregnancy. Garcia told US the whole set of news events were “stupid”. “I mean, it’s stupid. I’m nine months pregnant. If I wanted people to think that, I would have said something like that when I first found out. I would not say something like that now that I’m getting ready to have my baby. That doesn’t make sense.”

If Garcia’s set of news events drawing publicity to Levi and Bristol made no sense, today’s E! News report is not much clearer. With no pictures of Briana Plum, where she lives, nor when she dated Levi, E! claims a Facebook picture of Levi and Briana Plum caused Bristol to end the engagement.

Political blogs and entertainment news sites are getting filled with remarks Saturday of skepticism of all these Levi Bristol stories suddenly in one week.

A year ago this month, Johnston was pitched a tv show for himself. “[Levi's manager] Tank mentions a soon-to-be-announced television project” wrote the magazine. Tank clarified “I don’t even want to call it a reality show. It will be a docudrama or something similar. I think the whole reality-show thing is played out.”

In March, Sarah Palin teamed with Mark Burnett (Survivor) to bring “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” to TLC after a network bidding war for the series erupted; the final price tag unconfirmed was as much as $1 million per episode. Sarah Palin has previously signed on for a multi-platform deal with Fox News.

No confirmation from Johnston nor Palin about the report.

WASILLA (LALATE) – A Briana Plum controversy has caused Bristol Palin (photo above) to end her Levi Johnston engagement, claims reports. Briana Plum joins Lanesia Garcia in the latest Levi Johnston list of ex girlfriends that have caused controversy for Palin within 24 hours. But Plum, claims E!, was the last straw.

In early July, Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin appeared highly stylized for an US Magazine exclusive about their engagement. Last week, Lanesia Garcia reports surfaced. Garcia, an ex-girlfriend of Levi, was the subject of a National Enquirer article about her pregnancy. Radar claimed  “Levi insists the baby isn’t his, but no one really knows for sure. Levi is one of three possible fathers who were with Lanesia during the probable week of conception.”

Garica by Friday shot back, saying Levi is not the father of her baby. “Point blank, it’s not true at all. We haven’t hung out at all since 8th or 9th grade when we broke up. I don’t know where people are getting this. It’s not true at all. Levi is not the father of my baby.”

Now today another report, about another ex-girlfriend. The time it’s Briana Plum. E! reports “Instead, it was Levi’s other ex, Briana Plum, who put a hitch in Bristol’s wedding plans. “There was an interview with her and Bristol wasn’t happy about some of the things said,” the source tells E! News. “There was also some picture on Facebook of him and Briana and Bristol just said, ‘Let’s hold off on the engagement.’ “

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Did Maxine Waters dealings with her husband Sidney Williams’ OneUnited Bank violate amount to ethics violations? Sidney Williams holds at least $250,000 in the bank’s stock and is a previous board member. Now a House Panel is, according to the LA Times, seeking to accuse Waters of one ethics violation for conduct in regards to OneUnited Bank.

OneUnited received $12 million in bailout funds. Waters is accused as a senior member of the House Banking committee of arranging a meeting between the bank’s reps and the Treasury Department to get that bailout. Reports claim that Waters has asserted she didn’t set up the meeting, rather the National Bankers Association.

Waters has yet to comment since Friday. But she previously denied any wrongdoing where the matter first arose last year. “I am confident that as the investigation moves forward the panel will discover that there are no facts to support allegations that I have acted improperly.”

The committee reportedly voted to establish an investigative subcommittee Friday to further discovery of evidence.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Casey Affleck has been sued again, now by Magdalena Gorka. Magdalena Gorka’s Casey Affleck lawsuit is the second lawsuit claiming alleged conduct bizarre against female employees by Affleck on his film “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix”.

Just days ago it was producer Amanda White’s lawsuit seeking $2 million from Casey Affleck. White’s lawsuit claimed she was subjected to debauchery, “uninvited and unwelcome … advances in the workplace”, and even a filming in a Las Vegas hotel room populated with working women.

Now Magdalena Gorka, the film’s cinematographer, is suing for $2.25 million as well claiming alleged abuse while on set. She claims that Affleck jumped into her bed during evenings of the production. “During the middle of the night, [Gorka] awoke to find Affleck lying in the bed next to her. Unbeknownst to [Gorka], Affleck had entered the bedroom while she was asleep and crawled into the bed. When she woke up, Affleck was curled up next to her in the bed wearing only his underwear and a t-shirt. He had his arm around her, was caressing her back, his face was within inches of hers and his breath reeked of alcohol.”

The film is distributed by Magnolia Pictures.

Affleck’s attorney says he will file cross-claims against White. Affleck’s attorney hasn’t responded to the latest suit.

LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Natasha Alam (True Blood) debuts Playboy photos this July. Natasha Alam’s Playboy pictures were a first for the beloved star. Alam admits she was nervous.

“When we shot it, I just had a baby. I actually am about 10 pounds overweight in that scene, but I love my [body] …. I was still … feeding so it looked great.

“I had never done [this] before, so I was really, really worried… Alexander helped me so much – he just walked in the room, dropped his robe and he was all out there, no sock, nothing and I was like, ‘Oh, OK… I can do it too.’”

“I wanted to be in Playboy since… As an actress, it was my dream. My publicist called and (asked) if (I wanted) do it and she was like, ‘I don’t know if we should do it,’ and I was like, ‘Yes!’ I love it.”

Alam’s pictures can be found in the current July issue of the magazine. Also debuting this week at Playboy.com are its own Jersey Shore inspired characters.

Allison Torres, Mandie C, Jessica Leigh and Joy Glass hit up the spot that made JWoww and Co famous. They got the shoe phone. They got the Snooki chair.
