LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Tye Strickland and Melissa Rycroft are having a baby. Melissa Rycroft is pregnant, she tells US Magazine today. Melissa Rycroft and Tye Strickland married last December. Melissa calls the upcoming baby birth a blessing. Her due date is February.

Melissa Rycroft joined Dancing with the Stars just days after she said she is “done” with reality tv. Rycroft stepped in for Jewell, Holly Madison for Nancy O’Dell, during  a season of major Dancing injuries.  Mellisa joined Dancing after previously saying she was done with reality tv. “I decided to move on from my reality television days, and get some sense of normalcy back to my life.”

By March last year, she confirmed her relationship with Tye. Rycroft previously told press about Tye:    “He’s my best friend”.

Melissa Rycroft is the upcoming host of Bachelor Bad (ABC, August 9). Chris Harrison will co-host. ABC says the following about the series:

The show will also offer the 20 now-single contestants a “second chance” at finding love, something that didn’t quite work out during their first stint on “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette.” “
