Bull Fire MAP

KERNVILLE, CA (LALATE) – A map of the Bull Fire has been released by Kern County Fire. The Bull Fire started Monday just before 2 PM PST as a vegetation fire near Burlando Road. Quickly 500 personnel on ground, 7 water tankers, and 7 water dropping helicopters were on scene.
By 10 PM Tuesday, the fire was at 4200 acres destroying 6 residences in Riverkern. By earning morning Tuesday, the fire was at nearly 5100 acres despite now 700 personnel on the ground.
As of today, the fire is at over 15,500 acres, is only 5% contained, and has destroyed only six acres. Responding forces on scene are Kern County Fire, Bureau of Land Management, and US Forest Service. Officials warn news that the fire is fast moving and is expected to advance north and east and along both sides of the Upper Kern River.
