LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Why did Taylor leave Rachel Zoe, was Taylor fired, and what really happened to Tay Tay?

Rachel Zoe and Taylor Jacobson’s departure dispute is heating up news even before the Rachel Zoe Project Season 3 premieres next month.  Both women are telling local news two very different versions of the events. But one thing is for certain; Tay Tay’s comments in 2009 about Zoe were positive and this year are certainly not.

In November 2009, Taylor issued the following glowing statement to local news about Rachel: “After four amazing years at Rachel Zoe Corporation, I’m saddened and exhilarated at the same time to announce my departure. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take the challenging leap to go off and style on my own.”

But by 2010, TV Guide was reporting “Rodger Berman …. allegedly fired her during the taping of the first episode of Season 3, which premieres Aug. 3 at 11/10c. Taylor claimed otherwise back in November.” Tay Tay now has the following to say about Zoe: “There are always two sides to a story.I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been supposedly fired by Rachel — just investigate her past with clients and assistants.”

Zoe’s disputes the claim, telling Zap2it “There is a difference between being supposedly fired and being fired. And it’s not the first time I’ve been disappointed and it’s not the first time someone has been fired from my team. It’s happened twice before, which I can say is not very much considering I’ve been doing this for 15 years.”
